This was my first time ordering, and I am so happy that I did! Despite the pandemic, my little flowerhorn fry arrived very quickly and was very well packaged! I just want to thank you for picking out such a precious little flowerhorn! He is energetic and absolutely adorable! Full of life and personality! I will most definitely order from this business again in the future!

At first I was very very excited to order from Petzone SD. They have an amazing selection of fish, relatively low prices, and even offered curbside pickup! I was very happy that they offered all of these things and that they were open during the lockdown. My shopping experience couldn't have been better. Unfortunately, after placing an order for 8 glass fish, things took a turn. I ordered on Thursday April 23, 2020. I sent them a message that night asking to arrange pickup, and they responded on Friday that they would get back to me on the weekend arranging pickup/checking their stock of fish. I was very pleased, and was very happy with the customer service. Well, the weekend went by and I received no information. I sent them respectful follow up messages on April 25th, 26th, 29th and May 1st, all of which I received no response. In addition, I called and left a voicemail and received no follow up with that. I am completely understanding that this pandemic causes delays, but I would've hoped that at least one of my messages could have been returned. Currently, I am out of my money with no end in site. Update- Well after finally getting in contact with PetZone SD, I have gotten my issue resolved. I was able to talk to them on the phone and was promptly given a refund. Although it took a long time to get in contact with them and I felt undervalued as a customer, I am very appreciative of them giving me a refund quickly. I never got to see the fish but I will surely consider buying from them when this pandemic blows over. They seem a bit backed up right now, but they handled my complaints once I got in contact.

Jasper, we are very sorry about your experience and are totally with you on how frustrating this can be. We've been getting more emails and orders than we're used to handling and because of the lockdown measures, we've been understaffed and unable to get to the emails as quick as we'd love to and are definitely not ignoring emails (whew, we are feeling the pinch of the influx; especially with a review like this). Fastest way to reach us during this hectic time is to text us at our 866-MY-FISHY number (again, we get 150+ messages hourly on there with only 1-2 people checking so we may also be slightly delayed in response time on there). Bear with us and please be patient as we trek these new waters. We will reach out to you via phone or email sometime today or this weekend. Your order and issue will be taken care of (we'd never try to steal anyone's money; besides, you know where to find us physically in person), we can assure you this. Note, our pickup hours are 10-4 Friday, Saturday & Sunday at our Convoy shop. If you call or visit Monday - Thursday, we are not operating at that time as the shop is closed for business until the lockdown measures are eased or lifted. Thanks again and we hope we can get a fair opportunity to make things right with you and clear up any mixup or confusion. Be safe and speak soon!

Thank you! My local fish shop was out of Yo-Yo Loaches and they are my absolute favorite, i was so stoked to find a place that had them. they are such a great addition to my tank.

My first order through Petzone came with no issues. My second and most recent order which included two African Dwarf Frogs came with one of the frogs dead. They had packaged the plastic bags with the frogs upside down and almost all of the water had leaked out. I tried to contact Petzone but they are very difficult to get in touch with.

Lawrence, thank you for your repeat business and especially thankful for your support during this crazy time. We've been getting more emails and orders than we're used to handling and because of the lockdown measures, we've been understaffed and unable to get to the emails as quick as we'd love to and are definitely not ignoring emails (whew, we are feeling the pinch of the influx; especially with a review like this). We're down to just 1-2 people daily and it's been rough to be frank as we're handling a heavy volume of calls, emails and orders but we're trying to hang in there. Fastest way to reach us during this hectic time is to text us at our 866-MY-FISHY number (again, we get 150+ messages hourly on there with only 1-2 people checking so we may also be slightly delayed in response time on there). Let us reach out and help you with this issue. We definitely feel bad to hear that one frog didn't make it and would love speak with you to make things right. We know it's frustrating and we've been doing terribly bad in our response time with all that's going on so it's something we need to work on so thanks for bearing with us as we trek new waters in this time of uncertainty. Thanks, be safe and speak soon.

I’m sure my experience would have been better if covid 19 wasn’t going on.*** However, I ordered a blue discus, and instead of receiving it in overnight shipping it took a few days( from California to Maine) so when the fish arrived he was in disgusting water, and so stressed he had no color to him. He was alive, but didn’t make it throughout the night.

Racheal, thanks for your feedback and order. You can contact us at 866-MY-FISHY via text or email and we can address any underlying issues you may have. Expect delays in a response but do know we will are not intentionally ignoring any messages (just a bit delayed due to the high volume more than we can normally handle during this time). Thanks!
