We purchased an arowana from Pet Zone but unfortunately we couldnt figure out the import permit to have it shipped into Canada. Customer service was great and they refunded us without any hassle. We will definitely visit next time we are in San diego.

Very impressed with their customer service. Received a text about some of the fish I ordered, mentioning they were sick. Rather than just sending them to me and making it become my problem, they issued me a refund. The bundle of Otos I received were in great shape. Will 100% order from them again.

I paid 35.00 to shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express item never got it.

We send everything within 1-2 business days and once we pass the order to the carrier, we have no control over the speed of delivery (FedEx/UPS/USPS has encountered fulfillment time frame issues these days) and you can always track your order with the tracking info provided per the carrier's track system. Here was my experience with this company... I ordered 3 endlers, 2 dumbo guppies, 3 yellow and 3 blue rili shrimp. As soon as the box came it was opened and I was greeted with dead fish, and one live shrimp. I called the number to explain what happened, and the guy told me to send pics of them out of the bag to the customer service email and that they would get back to me. I do that and wait. At 2 am the next day, they send me an email saying that per their DOA policy, all fish must be cut up to prove that they're in fact dead. What kind of customer experience is that number one, and number two you're going to wait until the next day to tell me that? You guys want people to cut up the pet they were supposed to get in order to what.... Stop people from swindling you out of 5 dollars? Who has hurt you? Also, was I just supposed to keep dead fish on my counter until you decided to grace me with a response? I email them again and are told they will refund me not back to my card like I asked, but in store credit, which is also a policy of theirs, so if I wanted to get...oh I dont know....the fish i ordered in the first place, I'd have to pay for shipping again. I'm not paying another 50 bucks for shipping to get dead fish, so I decided I would just use the credit to get some plants and then I'd be done with this nightmare. Kind of hard to screw that up, right?... I ordered four micro swords. They sent me three micro swords and two unprompted dwarf sags. I give up. After all this BS I paid over a hundred dollars for one shrimp, 5 plants, two of which I didnt want or order. I dont know if it's the blind leading the blind over there or what the problem is but take it from me and do not deal with this company. Youd have better luck ordering from a special needs company employing people with down syndrome. The incompetence would at least be somewhat expected.

Hunter, thanks for your review and feedback! We stand by our live arrival guarantee and will always replace anything that arrives DOA during the shipment process. Our policy is standard within the fish industry and other vendors do require reshipment fees for livestock in the case of a DOA issue. We are sorry if we are slow to reply to some emails or messages but nevertheless we will get back to all messages as promptly as possible (note our time difference here in PST; our team works 10am-5pm PST).
