PawpReviews of pawp.com

I literally love pawp and wish that I knew of this company a long time ago. Such peace of mind. Thank you!!!!

Scam insurance- vet agreed animal needed to be seen again emergently but admitted she was constrained by Pawp’s guidelines to release funds. History- my dog stopped eating for 2 days and I called the general line for advice. They asked that I call my vet. I did so, my vet said it was an emergency and needed to be seen today. Pawp didn’t even attempt to cover that even though I later found out on a subsequent visit he’d qualify for emergency funds based on the original conversation. $500 later my poor boy was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Meds given and we were sent home. He rapidly declined two days later- shallow breathing, dehydrated, refusing to eat, shaking of the backsides and complete lethargy- I called to activate the emergency fund because I knew he was going into organ failure. The vet on call agreed with me! However, stated because he didn’t fit into one of their categories they couldn’t issue fund. (Highly recommended that my dog be seen today by my vet at my own expense, however.). Ridiculous. Immediately canceled insurance. These vets aren’t practicing medicine- they are practicing PAWP insurance limitations and pets will die in the process.

Absolutely love the fact that I could just get online and ask a question about concerns I have for my pet an out of them answered and actually felt that this was better than going for a visit to the actual vet

they really helped me to know what to do and what to watch for when my dog angel had an ear infection

I’m so grateful for the LVT Danielle that took our call in the middle of the night. She was patient and worked with us until our dog was better. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong but at least I knew it wasn’t severe and could wait until morning to get to the vet.

I’ve Never Used A “Chat” Especially Late in The Morning But My Penny(my dog)Wasn’t Eating(day 2),And Came Across This(still not sure how)But Luckily I Did,Still Don’t Know What It Was,Me on my phone or her listening,But She Went to her Bowl-of (boiled hamburger),only cause she wasn’t eating,I decided to boil hamburger,And She Ate👏🏻👏🏻After Thumping her Nose For the last 72 hours,At Literally Everything,This Is A Great Service,Just To Know there is a Listening Ear And Someone Willing(without MONEY)To Give A Complete Stranger an Opportunity to Inquire About this/her Pet!!!Awesome AMANDA!!!You The 💣💣💣

I truly appreciate this service & benefits. I only have an issue with the fact that many available vets offices or closest ones for emergency services don't have the extensive expensive equipment required to do all test so then they have to send you to a location to do the test and that is then concluding the whole treatment process because your leaving from that office but it is a necessary testing that needs to be conducted & are limited in care if you close the case for the reason of transported to the testing location. That isn't then resolving the crisis of the emergency. So you leave with undetermined diagnosis due to benefits conclude at initial office. There should be a exception clause due to limited testing equipment. I check to see how many do have this equipment, only 2 in Washtenaw county have this machine. Not even the Humane Society has it. But I think your staff did a great service for my Macy. And for my stress they eased my anxiety through this process with the financial support. Thank you! God bless you all! Unfortunately, I loss my baby.... But you did give me sooo much relief with consulting g assisting in payment.

Excellent advice given by the available vets.
