Site runs incredibly slow when... it actually goes to the correct page. It's been like this for awhile. Then a couple of times I've been unable to print my postage after paying for it. It's happening right now...

I started to use Orange Mailer during the pandemic as it was the only service that I could find at the time that offered a non monthly subscription fee. I do not use the mail frequently so I was searching for an online solution that I could use for the occasional mail. Although there are some querks in the web site (I needed to disable my ad blocker for example - otherwise the generate postage button would never appear), I found the service to be very useful, however, I would prefer a service that integrates with Microsoft Office like stamps.com, however I did not want to pay a monthly fee for that convenience. Their customer service was very helpful - I had an issue changing settings in my profile and they resolved this in a matter of minutes. For me, if they had a plugin option for Microsoft Office (to print from that address book rather than their online one) and also a way to customize the appearance of the return address, I would give it 5 stars, meanwhile I give it 3.5 out of 5.

I wanted to take a moment and address the items you mention. - Not sure why the ad blocker would block the button, except that it is javascript controlled, so perhaps that did it. We will however begin testing various scenarios to see if we can better adress this. - Microsoft Office Integration: Our software was built specifically to not use _any_ plugins. We want to be as simple and clean as possible and not require the customer to install anything. Additionally, we do not want to control your device in any way. This is why our labels print to any printer - they are simple PDF's. And this is why we don't have what would be the required "plug-in". That said - you can export the addresses then re-arrange the fields according to our system and save as a csv file. Then you can import to our Address book. Hope this helps. We are striving to maintain the best experience with the least intrusion possible. Bill

All in all the service is convenient. However, they do not allow you an opportunity to proof before they zap your account for the cost and when I confronted them about a known issue - they canceled my account for fraudulent activity and refunded the balance of my account - not the $4+ that they charged for a label I could not use - and I could not even get back on to print off the label. So they basically scammed me out of the cost of that label. They blamed the issue on the USPS and when I said that was all well and fine, but my issue is with our inability to correct the label before you charge me and then refuse to make it right. You just admitted you were aware of the issue and yet you still do not provide your customers with the ability to proof the label, because had I had that opportunity, I would have seen that it was not going to print correctly and would have corrected it first, but now, I am stuck with a label I cannot use and out the cost of postage - wonder what the BBB thinks of that scam? I'm definitely going to find out.

Hi There is no way to proof a label, the information you enter is sent to USPS and their system is creating the label with the postage and sends it back to us. What you can do if you mess up a label for a package is to simply cancel it, get it refunded, and create a new one. ( cancel and get it refunded with one click of a button on the history page ) There was nothing wrong with your label other than that the company name was printed first over the persons name. Unfortunately that is the way USPS creates it. You did have the option of going to the history page, and there cancelling the label and get it refunded and create a new one, that way it would not have been any issue at all. Instead you chose to go off on us and call us scammers and extortionists and threatened us. at that point we decided to close your account and refund your balance. And if you think that providing you with a label created by USPS based on the information you entered is a scam then you should switch to fedex, you cant buy a postage/shipping labels from USPS without dealing with USPS....
