Complicated to add a temporary operator.

We apologize for your frustration. Yacht insurance companies require a copy of the captain's USCG License and current boating resume signed by the captain prior to approval. If you forward that information to our office, we are happy to work with underwriters for approval.

I bought my yacht in March of '22. Novamar was easy and thorough getting me insured; so far (knock wood) I haven't the need to contact them for any issues.

Hard to get answers in a timely manner. Response times in general are slow.

Hi Patty: I apologize for the delays you experienced. The underwriter for this product is notoriously slow in their responses, which can be frustrating. As I believe was discussed, we anticipate bringing onboard an additional domestic market before the end of the year that may be a great fit for you.

They're like kids. We don't talk much, I just give them money. If anyone offered me a better rate I'd take it. I have mo experience of this company outside of when I signed up...except I give them money. That's really our only communication. They should at least send like a letter once in awhile that says, hey thanks for the last couple years of sending us money. That makes me think, I should write my parents.
