The food is fine but the packaging is horrific and the customer service is horrible. I wonder if the owner of the company has a dog and has to contend with the packaging twice a day like we do. Cmon nom nom! Step it up!!! Do the right thing!

The food quality is high. Responsiveness to customers, not so much. Rarely enough dry ice in the package, despite several attempts to get them to use more. The individual packets would be very handy except that they don't open the way they are supposed to so I almost always have to use scissors. Could live with this but they sent out a letter saying they were increasing prices. That's okay, but then they went from $95 per month to $224! I reached out to them and got only the usual boilerplate response. Others here complained about 59% increases. Mine was more than double. That cries out for a real explanation. Bottom line: I cancelled.

This review is concerning NomNom's delivery service. I reordered me dogs food twice because food was delivered to the wrong address both times. Where food was delivered wasn't to an address not remotely close to my address. I can understand this happening maybe once, but not twice. Person receiving my dog food was nice to me on the first delivery, but food was no longer frozen so had to though it all away. Second order was delivered to the same individual. He was not happy and proceeded to verbally abuse me. That upset me a lot. So today I called NomNom canceled my account, and will be refunded for my original order of $118.75. The sad thing is that my dog really liked the food. To bad for NomNom on loosing a good customer. Christine Sommerfeld

If it wasn’t for their excellent customer service, I’d probably only give them 2 stars. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I was paying $525 a month, and then out of absolutely nowhere, it jumped to $731 a month. I think that is just absolutely ridiculous. They claimed to have sent an email, but it happened to be the only one I couldn’t find from them in my inbox (go figure). I cannot take out a second mortgage to feed my boys. I understand inflation, but this seems like all out robbery. They must be trying to make up money in all of the customers they’ve lost recently. Take your money elsewhere!

Hi Been a long-standing advocate for nom nom. But the quality das gone down while the price keeps going up. Packaging keeps getting heavier an heavier some packs weigh less than others. Also defrosted when they arrive pay 187.00 for 8 weeks for a 9 lb pound dog. Time to look elsewhere this one has really changed in quality.

The cost of our monthly NomNom order just increased from $336 to $451 per month. This inflationary price adjustment persuaded us to make and vacuum pack our own product using the same ingredients for 70% less cost. Our dogs love it! Thanks NomNom. p.s. (No more large handfuls of rubber bands accompanied with each month’s delivery. NomNom management should explore why this wasteful bundling strategy is not apart of the delivery process among their competitors.)

My dogs really do love the food unfortunately the quality has dropped. I just canceled my subscription. I’m getting packages that are labeled 110G, when I weigh them they are anywhere from 70 to 124G. I have no idea if I’m actually getting what I’m paying for and if the company cannot fill a package correctly, I don’t want to trust them with my dogs diet.

I've purchased Nom Nom for our Frenchie for about a year now. All was going well but then suddenly I started to notice a few changes. For one, the packaging was no longer easy to peel open. No big deal but this did bug my wife when she had to feed our dog. Then I started to notice that we weren't getting the equal amount of food between deliveries. For example, 1 month I'd get X amount of Beef and was shorted on the Turkey. Then I would get X amount of Chicken and shorted on the Beef. The one that pushed me over the edge was when I received a notification about their price increase. My price went up by $76 for the same amount of food. The kicker... you are told if its out of your budget... you can modify to only accept a certain amount of food and mix it with something else. What's the point of that. The reason for the price increase in the email is "due to unprecedented times". I wish companies stopped using that excuse already. COVID and everything else in the world just gives companies an excuse to push their prices higher for their own gain. It's somewhat ironic that Nom Nom was acquired by Mars back in Jan 2022. So I can only believe that a corporate giant as Mars is the reason for the price increase. I just cancelled (check out their FB and Instagram posts of people just cancelling left and right). I ended up going with Pet Plate. I get the same amount of food for a lower price than I originally paid with Nom Nom. So win win overall. One last thing I'll mention is that other than our Frenchie having more solid bowel movements and a beautiful coat... it did nothing to alleviate her allergies or skin irritation.
