The solar efficiency has not made my electric bill cheaper yet? Other words I pay two bills but the price is the same.

As many other reviews stated.... easy to sign up but a nightmare to cancel. The explanation is not satisfactory, and the bills are HIGH. Cancelled service on June 6th and I am still getting bills (November 18th). They always got back to their standard answer the "production period", but If I follow their production period, an account cancelled in June was reflecting production done from 4/1 to 4/30, so they take the date you cancelled but not the actual production date we cancelled on? The last 5 months I spent $2,000 averaging $400.00 a month. I never spent that much in electricity even during the winter months in Maine. One month they charged us over $700.00, after calling it was rectified, they mentioned they had a mistake. I am sharing this, and I will fight this/them because I can only image what the elderly community is experiencing with this company. We are all striving for a better community and better/efficient world and unfortunately this is not the company for it.

Our team is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST, and we look forward to assisting you. In regard to our program, we provide solar energy credits that offset your electricity costs with your utility. In Maine, the program is designed so that you receive credits based on your share of the solar farm’s production. When you enrolled, we analyzed your usage and costs to size a share that would cover approximately 90% of your annual electricity needs. It is typical for customers to generate excess credits during the summer months, which are stored in a credit bank and utilized in months with higher usage, like winter. With this setup, we recommend that customers evaluate their savings on an annual basis rather than month-to-month. When you cancel with Nexamp, we process the request immediately. However, your utility may take up to 90 days to remove you from the project. During this period, you may still receive solar energy credits that reduce your bill. This timeline is noted in the contract you signed with us. We again apologize for your experience and are committed to assisting you moving forward.
