Costumer service support is outstanding. When the gardyn don’t grow, they just send free replacements and overall great customer service.

The machine is cool, but they don't tell you when you're buying it that you need a $40/month subscription to keep it working. They claim that they guarantee the plants will sprout, but they don't seem to stand behind that guarantee. It's ok but if i needed a second one I would try a competitor.

First, your Gardyn works beautifully without a subscription. You can connect to the app, manage your lighting and watering schedules, keep an eye on your device and order yCubes, all with no membership needed. It is simply there as an optional way to unlock extra guidance and features, never a requirement to keep growing. And we absolutely stand behind our germination guarantee. If any yCubes do not sprout after 21 days, we will gladly replace them, no hassle. We are sorry if that did not come through clearly for you. Our team will also be reaching out to you directly by phone and email to answer your questions and make sure you feel fully taken care of. You gave Gardyn a chance and we would love to earn back your confidence. 💚

Simple use, Good Food - we grow mostly lettuce. Kelby ai lets you know when service is needed. Pods guaranteed to grow. Had it for @ 8 month's.

I love everything about my growing experience and results. The device goes offline frequently. It needs to be paired again and again. I didn’t realize this was happening the first 2 months and I missed out on instructions. Now that I’ve been using it a while I don’t depend on instructions from the app. If it goes offline it doesn’t matter much. But it’s annoying.

What is not disclosed clearly is that once you purchase, you are compelled to purchase a membership that cost as much as the entire device. It will auto renew and your credit card info will be saved in their database immediately after an in-app pop-up message gently gaslights you that it won't be saved. But that's ok. You'll need it to be saved because you'll immediately realize that the required hydroponic caps that are required for the safe and efficient operation of the system are not included with your purchase. You're going to be ushered by the app to purchase that and all the other accessories that gardyn decided not to include with your purchase like the hydro solution, trellis, plant ties etc. I'm sat here feeling extraordinarily bemused and hood-winked as I end up staring down the barrel of an additional $1000.00 to get what the system fully connected and working with the advertised features.

A membership is not required to use your Gardyn. Without a membership, you can still connect your Gardyn to the Gardyn app, adjust automatic lighting and watering schedules, and view temperature, humidity, and water levels to help maintain your device. Non-members can also purchase plant yCubes through the app for $4.99 per credit, plus shipping. If you don’t wish to continue your membership, our team sends reminder emails with options to cancel, and you can also cancel directly through the Gardyn app. Our accessories are designed to help you get the most out of your Gardyning experience, but they are not required to use your Gardyn. 🌱 We’d really appreciate the opportunity to answer any questions and make sure you have a clear understanding of what you need for your setup. The Gardyn was so easy to set up. I did have a camera issue, but they were very helpful in troubleshooting and sending out a replacement part. I can't wait for my first harvest!
