A deliberately confusing cancelation page clearly designed to make people think they have canceled when in fact there is another (total unnecessary and tiny... right at the bottom on the page step)....was charged after a free trail period. Contacted them in seconds of seeing the payment go out....but they refused to do anything about it. The sooner we have some sort of subscription cancelation legislation the better; so these scum bags can't get away with it.

Terrible customer service and cheaper products out their that do the same thing. Go with ahrefs or something else and use AI tools.

I cancelled my Moz account, but the cancellation was not honored. Despite cancelling, I was still charged a fee. I contacted them within hours of the charge to flag the mistake and request a refund, and they refused. This company probably makes half of their money by scamming people.

Since I first started building software 30 years ago, I've seen a steady decline in how companies respond to customer feedback, especially if you aren't an enterprise with multimillion-dollar budgets. Not so with Moz... as an individual customer, I identified a bug regarding cookie overlays in their PDF reports, and sent a message to customer service, expecting to be shrugged off or ignored. Instead, they stuck with me through the multi-week process of looping back to their product team, producing revisions, and listening to my feedback at each step until the problem was solved. Bravo! Great customer service... and their PDFs look *much* better now :-)

I think that this website is a great beginner tool for someone who is wanting to learn SEO for their business. There is a lot of information and learning on the tools available in Moz. They practically hold your hand on your SEO learning journey. While it may not have all features and the research depth of big name marketing stack companies, for its price point–it provides lots of value. Great Job Moz!

Cancelled my free trial on time and they still charged. Also the PA & DA data is not accurate at all. Ahrefs shows very different (but accurate) data!!

Five years. It has now been five years since I completely overhauled my website: I removed dozens of pages, disavowed hundreds of toxic backlinks, and migrated the entire project to a static architecture. A colossal undertaking, carried out meticulously and strictly in accordance with Moz’s own recommendations. The result? My Spam Score remains stuck at 56, exactly as it was on day one. Not a single point of improvement. Nothing. What is even more troubling is that Moz continues to display pages that were deleted years ago, as if their system had never revisited my site. How can a tool supposedly designed to assess a site’s quality operate on data that is so outdated and demonstrably inaccurate? I contacted their support team: one generic reply about their quality guidelines, and then nothing. Complete silence. No transparency, no explanation, no meaningful update. Meanwhile, their obsolete and entirely disconnected score continues to undermine my partnerships and damage my business. At this stage, the question must be asked: what is the purpose of Moz if its data fails to reflect the work carried out or the actual state of a website? How can one claim to evaluate a domain’s “trustworthiness” using information that has been outdated for years? A tool that does not update its data, ignores corrections, fails to respond to its users, and maintains an unjustified score for more than five years cannot be considered reliable. Today, I regard Moz’s Spam Score as entirely lacking credibility. And it is deeply problematic that such a poorly maintained indicator can have real consequences for professional projects.
