Having purchased Montessori and non-Montessori toys, it has been obvious that Montessori is a higher quality product that lasts longer under toddler abuse. Staff has communicated delivery schedules accurately.

Although the website says “easy returns, no questions asked” it is anything but easy. You have to email them to start the process, then answer questions as to why you’re returning, then they give you complicated instructions, mailing to a man in PA, which i guess is their warehouse, and then emailing them the tracking number. And the RIC has to be on the package. While all of the instructions are clear, and they did try and dissuade me by offering a $100 store credit, it is not clear to me why there isn’t an easier way to return their products. The reason for the return was it arrived too late to send to the granddaughter (ordered on 12/5) and one arrived from “California” but had to clear customs, was not a Montessori toy (it said “Kabi” as the brand name) and it arrived on 12/17. The other did come in a Montessori box but arrived on 12/24, from IL, too late to send to my GD. The whole experience made me uneasy, has taken 5 days of emails to get instructions, and I’m hoping I’ll get my money back.

Hi Yvonne, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback — we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to hear that the return process felt more complicated than expected and that the timing of delivery caused inconvenience, especially with gifts intended for your granddaughter. While our return instructions are designed to ensure packages are properly received and processed at our warehouse, we understand that the process can feel overwhelming when multiple steps are involved. We also appreciate your comments regarding packaging and branding. Some items may ship from different fulfillment locations depending on availability, which can result in varied outer packaging, though the products themselves remain the same. Your feedback regarding the returns experience is valuable and has been shared with our team as we continue working to simplify and improve the process. We’re glad to hear that you’ve already received return instructions, and once the package is received and processed, your refund will be issued accordingly.

The worst, order from anyone else but them. Check the refund policy before you buy - it is so complicated as to be ridiculous. I bought 4 toys after about 3 weeks realized they hadn't come. Track them (have to download an app to track) and see they cleared customs. Customs? Why? They all ship from I believe China or India. Got lost, said they sent me new ones but the tracking number was for the old order that got lost. 2 items didn't come until christmas eve and I had bought other gifts but to return it took a week of emails and very complicated instructions and you have to pay for shipping back even though they screwed up. Never ever ever again. You can find these toys elsewhwere You wrote that you were sorry but I sent back the product weeks ago- you received it 2 weeks ago yet my emails to the address you posted go unanswered and no refund . When my product was lost why didn't you ask me if I wanted I sent ? I would have said no but now you have my money for both products and I had to pay to ship them back

We'd like the opportunity to make this right for you - please contact our customer support team at [email protected] and one of our agents will promptly assist you.

I ordered gifts for my grandson on 12/18 with the promise of 3-5 business day shipping. I knew that they would be late but it's now been 15 days and I still haven't received the items. When looking at their tracking, it shows that they didn't even begin to process the order until five days after it was placed. I have reached out to the company with no response.

Hi Susan, We’re sorry to hear about the delay and understand your concern, especially when the order was intended as a gift for your grandson. During the holiday period, order volume and carrier demand are significantly higher, which can affect processing and transit timelines. That said, we truly regret that you haven’t yet received an update. Please know that our support team does respond to all customer inquiries, and once you contact us, you will receive a reply. We’d appreciate the opportunity to review your order details and work toward getting your items delivered as soon as possible (if they haven't been delivered in the meantime). Please reach out to us at [email protected] , and one of our agents will assist you promptly.

The toys I ordered were high-quality products - much better than children's toys usually are. They are colorful, durable, and were very much enjoyed by my granddaughter!

The Montessori products are excellent for learning and fun for kids. Shipping was slower than usual but should be expected during the holidays

I bought the felt Christmas tree. The product was very poor quality. The Velcro dots were glued on. Some arrived already unstuck and others fell apart after one or two very gentle plays. Some of the ornaments also arrived with the glue unstuck, while others very quickly feel apart. There was no reply to my emails.

The toys may be fine but like other reviewers. I ordered 7 toys and spent almost $300 for Christmas gifts. I placed the order on 11/30/25. They finally arrived on 12/30/25. I want to return all items and am unable to get a response from customer service to authorize a return. Don’t buy from this place!
Response from Montessorigeneration· Jan 26, 2026
Hi Elizabeth, we sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience it caused. You’re absolutely welcome to return the items under our 1-year satisfaction guarantee. We’d be happy to assist with return instructions and authorization — we just need to review your order details directly. Because we’re unable to access order information through a review, please contact our support team at [email protected] , and one of our agents will gladly help you complete the return process.
