This was the worse experience of seeing a doctor, I have ever had. My appointment was for 4:30. I got a call fifteen minutes after; than I was told I would be connected to a doctor. I was placed on hold waiting for a doctor for over 50 minutes. I was forgotten about I never talked to a doctor.

Laughable customer service provided by Jaqueline on the back end of terrible communication from the Health Care professional. Certainly would not recommend, called in at 9AM and finally got a prescription written for simple antibiotics at 3PM after 4 phone calls. Sad to see such a simple process become a nightmare of an experience on top of being sick!

Horrible! I was told they couldn’t help me but charged me $82 for 30 seconds of their time. I asked for a refund and no one got back to me. What a waste!

I thought I was making out ok because this service was pushed on me through my insurance (BCBS of TX). I was very wrong. I was receiving absolutely no benefit for having BCBSTX. I had to pay $175 per visit with no reduced charge for follow-ups, both appointments were less than 10 minutes and they keep the med scripts short so that you have to have another appt within a few weeks to a month. The second appointment for me was terribly disappointing — Doctor was late, made me late for work, appt was rushed and it seemed like he just wanted to get off the call. All for another months’ meds. I finally decided after a lifetime of depression to try some antidepressants and boy am I regretting my decision. I have since gone through Zocdoc and found out that even WITHOUT insurance I could have gone through them for $140 for the first session and $99 for follow ups. That’s WITHOUT insurance so I’m excited to see what that looks like WITH insurance. BCBSTX and MDLive both steered me wrong. Don’t be like me. I’m out $350 precious dollars. EDIT: after Mdlive left me a comment on this review with an email address, I emailed them and have not heard back. It’s been a few days now. So they just auto reply to any negative reviews but don’t intend to follow through. Meanwhile, I had my appointment through Zocdoc today and it went very well, aside from some slight technical difficulties, and was significantly cheaper.

Dr was rude and hung up on me, I will never use again or recommend!

I was given an appointment time and then minutes after the scheduled appointment, it was cancelled. I got another provider to call me and they were extremely unprofessional; unfortunately had no knowledge of anything medically related- only the guidelines of what they were not allowed to do. I understand procedures and guidelines but this was ‘we cannot change medications’ - but I can’t pay for an expensive now uninsured drug because a new year rolled around and I have new insurance. I understand you won’t even look at the uploads I made in the file - that might take some effort. Waste of time and good luck - pay before service and kiss that hundred bucks goodbye UPDATE FEBRUARY 6, 2023 I followed up with the organization as requested at the email address supplied in their response. After an additional two weeks wait was an essential response to inform me that they had received my complaint and I can go kick rocks. This is the highest and best description of institutionalized medicine wrapped in a pretty wrapper called a new experience. Idea for MDLIVE, hire some actual patients as test monitors to review your processes and insure the quality of service is high and pick up a JDPower award for healthcare professionals.

I tried the video test 2 days beforehand and then called their support. They said it should work on the day of the appointment. It didn't. When Iogged in on the day of the appointment, they wanted far more information than they initially asked over the phone and when I couldn't give them exact dates, the page would never move on. I got caught in a loop and finally closed out the page and relogged in. I got a screen showing the doctor's name and a connect button. I kept clicking that button to no avail. The video portion of the screen did not ever work. So, after the appointment time had passed, I got a call from MD Live saying that I had missed the appointment and if I still wanted to talk to the doctor, to press 1. I pressed 1 and got crickets. No one ever answered the phone. I got up at 5:30 am CST to make this appointment which was made on a somewhat emergent basis. It plain doesn't work and I would advise anybody to pass this up. Frustrating to no end.

Horrible. You can’t contact the provider, even after having 3 telehealth visits. They don’t take basic insurance. When you have to reschedule an appointment, you have to call customer service who then contacts the provider. Horrible, outdated service. They constantly ask you to reconfirm the credit card numbers, even though you paid previously and the information is online. I would not recommend for patients or providers.
