I've been a loyal big customer with Matterport Enterprise plan for several years. I have been paying quaterly payments, now they are only allowing annual payment of up front (£10,000+ in my case)!! This is very toxic of them to do, no other company makes you only have the option of annual payment. I agreed to their new annual payment as they didnt give me no other choise, and I waited 1-2 months for them to draft the contract, now they are saying the senior management team wont approve of the contract - such a waste of my time and what a poor senior management of matterport to refuse without proper reason. I've noticed a severe loss of Matterport's customer service / sales service, since CoStar bought them. I don't have much hope in matterport anymore and will be seeking alternatives.

Matterport wasn't great before they were bought by Costar, and now they're 100% toxic with fees going up 20% in our case YOY despite us cutting over 300 unit scans. It's a walled garden where they imprison your scans and charge you extortionate fees to retain access to your data. You can't migrate them, and you don't own them. It's a racket, and Congress should get involved. Their stock reply, likely AI-written, is designed to make you think you have options - you do not. You can pay them a lot of money, or a lot more money; that's it. Those are your options. And you still don't own your scans. DO NOT get on this platform, or you will never leave. I promise you. We manage a couple of thousand small apartments, homes, and duplexes, and are down to 179 scans on Matterport. They billed us $9.4k this year, when we had over 500 last year, and we paid $7.5k to retain them. It's extortion and exploitative. Finally, they'll tell you to email support, and they'll leave you on read for a week until you pester them again. When they do respond, it's to tell you to shut up and take it. This is an evil company, if ever there was one.

Kundenservice ist quasi nicht vorhanden Wir hatten ein ewiges E-Mail Ping-Pong weil es einfach systemseitig unnötig kompliziert gemacht wurde, für uns zu kündigen. Außerdem wird die Migration zu einem anderen System so schwer gemacht, dass ich jetzt einen Hass auf Matterport bekommen habe! Bei unseren 16 Rundgängen muss ich jedes einzelne Bild manuell in der App "abfotografieren" und dann einzeln auf jedes Bild "herunterladen" drücken. Das kostet meinen Arbeitgeber nicht nur eine Unsumme an Geld, sondern ist auch so ziemlich das hohlste, was man in so einem Programm machen kann. Früher war ich Matterport-Fan, heute rate ich jedem nur davon ab! (Es gibt ein Programm, wo man - wenn man selbst hosted - nur einmal im Leben so viel zahlt, was Matterport im Jahr kostet... Das "einfache Aufnehmen" von Matterport lohnt sich in dieser Rechnung nicht... Lieber baue ich manuell, habe meine Daten und bin unabhängig.. Die Kameras sind auch schon längst überholt.. Hatte mal die Pro 2... Jetzt ein preiswerteres Konkurrenzprodukt und man merkt kaum einen Unterschied.)
