LKQReviews of lkqcorp.com

This complaint is about LKQ Motors, an entity that is apparently separate from LKQ Corporation. I put a $200 deposit on a “rebuilt “ engine. When the photos of it arrived, my mechanic said it didn’t look like it was rebuilt and it was missing pieces. He said he would not install it if I bought it. I informed them of that and requested my refund. On May 12, 2026, I was advised by email that I would receive it in 5-7 business days. It has now been 26 days and no refund. I have sent six emails since the 7th business day came and went. The company has not responded in any way. I just want my $200 refund. Addendum: It is now June 16, no refund no response to 8 emails.

I had just called LKQ and was put on hold. Not too long tho, maybe 10 mins. However, because of my chemo brain, and the brain damage I suffered in a terrible accident in Feb of ‘24’, I could not remember who I called. It is very embarrassing as it is, to have to ask who it was that I called; but to add to it by the CSR laughing at me, was totally unacceptable!! And I was flabbergasted that someone that deals w/the public, and someone you would expect to be professional, could be that rude!! I told him that I had chemo brain, but he kept laughing, until I told him I had 4th stg cancer, which I do, and that I wasn’t kidding! I then told him he was rude, and I would take my business elsewhere!! And I hung up! They called me right back, but I didn’t answer, and they didn’t leave a message! Now I understand why they only have a 1 1/7 star rating! If anyone reading this has cancer like me, God bless you and may he get you all well and healthy!! And please take your business elsewhere! I would greatly appreciate the support! That man was totally insensitive!! Thank you!

Terrible customer service!!

Delivering used materials sold as new. Customer care is very rude

Extremely poor customer service been to their place three times to pick up Parts. Nothing has worked out tried to escalate it to a manager, who was not able to do it so I had to resort to this. They don’t care about customer service. I don’t believe would not recommend them to anybody at this time.
