My glasses broke in an irreparable spot, and I am pretty blind without them. It was a March purchase. They are sending me a new pair, no charge. My only complaint is how long it took to get all the ducks in order, but their emails were professional and polite. I also have to say they have frames you don't see anywhere else.

I wish I could recommend Lensmart.com, but my experience was honestly awful. I ordered glasses from them hoping for something cute, affordable, and simple… and instead it turned into a frustrating mess. My order took forever with barely any updates, and the “tracking information” they provided felt useless — it bounced around, didn’t match the actual delivery timeline, and left me constantly wondering if my package was even real. When the glasses finally showed up, they were nothing like what I expected. The quality was cheap, the fit was off, and the lenses didn’t seem right at all. Trying to get help was the worst part. Their customer service was slow, dismissive, and honestly felt like they were just trying to wear me down until I gave up. Every reply was vague, unhelpful, and made it clear they weren’t interested in fixing anything or offering a real solution. After all that, I’m left with glasses I can’t use and a company I’ll never order from again. If you’re considering Lensmart, save yourself the headache — there are so many better, more trustworthy places to buy glasses.

Lensmart repeatedly reaches out asking for a 5-star review, but my experience has been completely unacceptable. I ordered four pairs of custom prescription glasses (Order #1852479). All four pairs arrived completely blurry, distorted, and fundamentally unusable as a medical device.The company openly acknowledged that they were unable to contact my optometrist to verify the parameters of my prescription, yet they chose to manufacture and ship the items anyway. Now that I have received a defective product that I cannot see out of, customer service is refusing to accept a return or issue a refund, hiding behind "special offer" terms to deny basic consumer protections.Do not trust the automated review requests pushing for 5 stars. Their product quality and customer service are incredibly poor, and I have been forced to file a formal dispute with my bank to get my money back.

There was an issue identifying the prescription details you provided when placing the order; we emailed you immediately to inform you of the situation and requested a new image of the prescription. During our follow-up communication, you sent a clear image of the prescription and confirmed that all four pairs should be made according to those details. We proceeded with the order only after verifying all this information. It is not the case that we manufactured and shipped the glasses despite having a blurry or unreadable prescription image. After receiving the order, you contacted us claiming the prescription was incorrect—stating that the lenses did not match the prescription image you had provided earlier and alleging that we had used the wrong details. We have verified this multiple times, and the lenses were indeed manufactured based exactly on the prescription image you provided prior to production. The issue with the lenses being unclear arose because the prescription image you submitted initially was incorrect. If you wish to change to the correct prescription, you will need to pay for the new lenses. Regarding special-offer items, our website clearly states that they are non-returnable and non-exchangeable. We would certainly resolve the issue if the error had been on our end; however, the lack of clarity was caused by the incorrect prescription details you provided, so we are not responsible for the error. Nevertheless, we are willing to offer a special solution for this discounted item. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service, and we will do our best to assist you!
