Excellent advice, I needed to fix an issue with the search in my WordPress instance not finding the LearnDash courses. They offered suggestions on plugins to use that did the trick perfectly.

The overall functionality of LearnDash is decent (although they really need to have native support for SCORM and xAPI out-of-the-box to be taken seriously as an LMS), but their customer support is pretty terrible. There is a conflict between two of their own features (linear progression and sample lessons) that is causing serious problems on my site. I reported it to their support team over 4 months ago and it was confirmed as a bug by their development team. Still no fix or any update on when there might be a fix. They don't even respond to my requests for an update anymore. Meanwhile, they keep announcing useless new AI features that nobody asked for. They need to have their developers focused on fixing bugs with their core platform before investing their resources in chasing the latest fads. UPDATE (July 30, 2024): I've changed my rating to 1-star after the LearnDash response to my review. They try to pretend that the issue is resolved by saying "We have addressed this matter in your ticket, and any further concerns or updates can be addressed there." Do you want to know how it was "addressed" in my ticket? Like this: "While we recognize this issue's impact on your course workflow, we currently don’t have an immediate solution or timeline for a fix." Wow. That's really "excellent" support. Mission accomplished.

I am extremely disappointed with Learndash and their customer support. We were working on a time-sensitive project and encountered an issue with a critical feature. When we reached out to Learndash support, they simply stated the feature was "impossible" to implement. This response was not only unhelpful, but it was also incorrect. We were able to find workarounds and solutions from other Learndash users online, proving that the feature was indeed possible. However, the delay caused by Learndash's misinformation resulted in us missing a deadline and incurring over a thousand dollars in fines. We have tried to contact Learndash about this issue and have not received any acknowledgment or compensation for our losses. Their lack of responsibility and accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering Learndash to be aware of their poor customer support and the potential for costly mistakes due to misinformation.

I’m genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration it has caused. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, nor is it representative of how we aim to work with our clients. We take pride in delivering excellent support and accurate information, and it's clear we've fallen short in this instance. I'd like to personally look into this matter further to understand what went wrong and how we can make things right. I have sent a request for more information so I can locate your account and ticket. Again, I sincerely apologize for the frustration and difficulties you've experienced. We're dedicated to earning back your trust and ensuring that future interactions with LearnDash meet the high standards you rightfully expect from us.

LearnDash is a Life Saver! I am incredibly thankful for LearnDash because they changed my life. I was in a dead-end job when I first heard about LearnDash. I instantly knew that I could create a business using LearnDash as my foundation. I quickly purchased one license and began growing my business. Fast forward a year later, LearnDash jumpstarted my business, updating from 1 to 10 licenses. Better yet, whenever I run into issues, they respond lightning fast. Most recently, I had a plugin issue that was affecting the user experience for mobile learners and within 24 hours they fixed the problem. LearnDash is an incredible tool, with incredible support and I forever thankful for them. Without them, I wouldn't be able to do what I do and love it!

Terrible customer service with crazy long wait times and not willing to answer with any ideas of timelines for bug fixing of business critical issues in their plugin.

I am new to Learndash and have made some rookie errors when setting up my site. I reached out to support and was delighted with the length and breadth of their response and support. They went far beyond the standard brief response by thinking ahead about what else I may need and providing it. They resolved my issues quickly, and their follow-up was timely and appreciated. My relationship with Learndash has started well.
