IXL constantly punishes you for getting questions wrong. It has a blatantly rigged score system where more points are taken away the higher your score and you get less points the higher your score. It causes stress and frustration but doesn't actually teach you.

The experience is similar to being waterboarded. The smartscore is inaccurate, and the "lessons" teach you more about how to use Google than how to use what you're learning. The repetitive design is similar to torture, and almost everyone in my class despises it. Once, I asked my dad for help, and we both sat there for 30 MINUTES before he decided to use AI. Overall, I would rate this a NEGATIVE 5 if I could.

As an ADHD and [mildly] autistic 7th grader, if this doesn't get shut down or banned, I'll be disappointed [even more]. I am usually required (well, more like forced) to use this absolute joke of a website. It has already gotten a lawsuit, but nothing has changed. And don't even get me started on the "group jam" thing. At my school, this is mandatory. It is too easy for me, and I also don't need an explanation that I got the question right. But the real deal is what I've ignored in school. The diagnostics were good back then, but now it is psychological torture. I agree with everyone with the SmartScore, it is actually dumb, not smart. If I don't find a way to get my school to quit using this, it is game over for me.

The point system is terrible and it doesn't encourage me to do my work and makes me dread going to math class its so annoying that you lose points after every wrong answer and only gain a little it causes extreme stress, it causes students to not do their work and causes grades to drop tremendously.

OK, it just sucks so much. I spent almost 5 hours at my house on one level because they kept making my answer be wrong and my teacher told me to redo it. And you know my friend Teddy he wrote a review that was like so long in Chinese class because there’s so much terrible things. And I get a question wrong and I just get depressed it’s the most terrible math app ever like ever ever ever ever ever. I respect whoever gives this a one star review because this truly and truly sucks.
