Absolutely incredible method of integrating questions and concepts, ‘your guided Anki deck’, helped me understand and apply concepts and raised my NBME scores and gave me the confidence I needed to sit for my exam.

After failing Step 1, I felt hopeless about my chances of passing my boards and getting through med school. I often felt overwhelmed when trying to tackle practice problems. However, with Dr. Damania's guidance, I learned to approach each problem step by step, which made a huge difference. He was an excellent tutor, pushing me to work harder while helping me see the value of disciplined studying. Through his support, I developed a greater appreciation for the study process, even when it was difficult. Ultimately, his mentorship not only made me a better student but also, I believe, has prepared me to become a better doctor.

Dr. Damania is an incredibly genuine and invested educator! I used HyGuru videos and personalized sessions for USMLE Step 2. I knew I wanted some extra help and was in search for three months before my dedicated began. I spoke to so many companies and sales reps and none of them really convinced me that they were invested in my educational success. Tutoring sessions were generally working sessions in which I answered questions, approaching each question using Dr. Damania's analytical approach and sharing my understanding of the pathophysiology out loud. I loved being able to challenge myself in our working sessions and thinking through concepts with a knowledgeable tutor who can push me even further in my thinking. Dr. Damania also tackled some of the questions and I also learned so much from hearing him to do so in real-time. Overall, my experience with HyGuru was AMAZING and could not vouch for a better prep company.

HyGuru is the best! I definitely felt that the HY Step 1 video series on youtube was very helpful. After watching it several times, I took my own notes on each of the videos and would review them almost weekly as I took my NBMEs, in addition to other resources. I feel that thoroughly going over these notes and further understanding the meaning behind concepts with time really helped me for both passing Step1/Comlex Level 1 and for understanding concepts during my rotations at the moment!

As a current MS3 who recently passed both STEP and COMLEX exams, I can't thank Dr. Damania's course enough. The fact that it includes a free HY resource is a huge advantage for students like me on a tight budget. My NBME scores ranged from 47 to 63 at the end of dedicated, which is a RISKY gamble, but I decided to dive into this course the week before my STEP exam after discovering his YouTube videos. I had an issue with a refund for a HyGuru course, but after Dr. Damania found out about my concerns, he immediately corrected this issue and refunded me. I recently completed Rahul Damania’s Hyguru Step 1 service, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. His videos are incredibly question-oriented, which was instrumental in helping me build a solid foundation for applying knowledge to organ systems questions on UWorld. The way the material is organized by organ system and then further by topic within each system made it incredibly easy to navigate through a substantial amount of content efficiently. I was scoring really low on NBME's and really believe watching all of the organ system sections of his course + hammering UWorld on the systems I watched really got me to passing levels (and I passed STEP 1!). Rahul was also available via text message to give me guidance when I wasn't sure where to go, and has even been very helpful in guiding my STEP 2 / shelf studying thus far as well.
