Water Heater broke 2/13, took them 3 days to get some to look at it, dragged their feet another week before coming back saying they needed more pictures only to deny the claim due to rust. The water heater ruptured & you waited 8 days to response, what did you think was going to happen, it magically disappear? Never, Never, Never use this company!

My contact is 832-728-1481 (I wrote it wrong before) This is the worst company you will deal with it in your life. The will make you to pay double what it is costing on private. I stay with them over 8 months, then I cancel see below what they did with me. 1- After 45 days I have my microwave smoking. The send some one he did not to get to my house until I pay for him (he ask for cash). And he supposed to send the diagnostic report 48 Hours max. Never happened (one or two weeks) and they told me this happened before the warranty active we did not cover( wow it’s a short cut) I spent with the for more three months to solve it they did not. 2- after Three months my refrigerator makes ice, and I turned off, then the freezer not working but the fridge working, I spend with them over there months again (no solution). So I cancelled the last payment. And I told myself if they didn’t fix the refrigerator I will not continue with them( since I pay in front one month) and I figure that the day I didn’t make the payment the cancel my policy, I told them I pay one front and it must be active at lest for 28 days more. They told me no go back and read the police. The are professional for taking your money without any service. Also I need to mention that they dealing with a not certified or professional technician ( I discovered that when the refrigerator technician came to my house he broke one of the shelf’s, because he bullied push it out before he removed the screw) and he said Sorry I didn’t know there are one here.

I have been trying to get a leaking toilet fixed for 2 1/2 months with this company. Started October 14. The first plumber just took my money, had the work approved, and never showed back up. So I’ve had to start with a second company. Who now a month later has still not even been out to diagnose the issue. If I have the claim reassigned again, it’s probably gonna take another month. Do not use this company.

I called HSC regarding a leaking hot water heater. No plumbers responded to HSC’s network so I hired a plumber who reported to the claim department that the water heater was leaking and needed replacing. Water heaters die due to leaking after a period of time, but the claim was denied due to RUST AND CORROSION. Remember that term. It’s buried in the contract you sign, but don’t see until after signing up. The important coverage details are purposely left out on the home web page. DON’T BUY A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY!

We have had this contract since April, 2022. In July, our hot water heater went out and it took from July 6th to July 27 to get the part and because it was summer we just dealt with no hot water at the time. We never got reimbursed for the part. Now 5 months later our hot water heater went out again. I put in a claim on Sunday night, December 4th and as of today, December 7, they haven’t contacted us with a contractor. I have called and spoke with Mario, Vic and Alexander and they tell me it takes 24 - 48 hours to get a contractor. Mario said I should have one in 4-6 hours. IT IS WINTER AND WE HAVE NO HOT WATER SINCE SUNDAY? I then asked Vic on Tuesday if we could get our own contractor and be reimbursed and he said yes. We did and Alexander said we need to have our plumber submit an invoice with his diagnosis then they would decide whether to replace or fix. In order to do all this our plumber would need to make 2 trips and he couldn’t get back to repair or replace for another week and WE STILL WOULDNT HAVE HOT WATER FOR ANOTHER FEW DAYS? My husband said forget it and we went today, bought a new hot water heater and he, with a little of my help, installed it and we had hot water by 5 pm today. My husband is 77 years old and got it done for almost $800.00. The plumber would have been $800.00 to repair or $2,335.00 to replace it. And we still wouldn’t have a contractor from Home Service Club tonight if we had listened to them. It would take about 30 days to be reimbursed. We have CANCELLED our Contract with them after I spoke first with Karen, then Nelson, then Courthon(sp??) and he said we would get a refund of $125.00 when I asked for a reimbursement of our $776.36, but that is out of the question. They should reimburse us for our cost because they couldn’t get a contractor out to diagnose our problem after 3 days of waiting. This company should be shut down immediately. I will report them to the BBB and I don’t know how to get a class action suit against them but I sure wish someone would. I will tell everyone I know to never do business with this ridiculous company!!!

Crooked, Unscrupulous Home Service Club! I took out and paid upfront for a service warranty for the year in August 2022. In Oct I made a service request and was told that a technician would come out to my residence. I waited. Days turned into weeks, no response and no technician. I called Home Service Club and they told me they were still looking for a technician for my Heating/Cooling system. I got an email saying a technician was coming on 11/4/22 between 3pm and 8pm. It was a no-call, no-show. I called Home Service Club and requested my account be closed and my money be refunded. The asked for a little more time because they were working on my case. Again, I waited. Nothing happened after a whole week. I called again and requested my account be closed and my money refunded. A male representative assured me he closed my account and processed my refund; and would send me a confirmation email. No email came so about three days later, I followed up only to find out that my account was still opened and no refund was processed. I spoke with a female supervisor on or about 11/21/22 and requested my 100% refund because all they did was lied, deceived, and dishonored their service agreement. She refused to give me my 100% refund. I told her the company did nothing for me and therefore did not deserve any of my money. There are very many complaint out there about Home Service Club and I only found out after the fact. But I am trying to prevent other unsuspecting consumers like myself from falling victim of unscrupulous companies like Home Service Club. I will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and various other Complaints Boards to protect hard working Americans from being ripped off. I wonder how is it a Class Action Law Suit has not yet been filed again Home Service Club?

Everyone writing a 1 star review is 100% correct . What they do should be illegal this is America not a 3rd world country . They should be thrown in jail for lying and stealing peoples money . See you in court low life’s
