Excellent friendly staff across the hotel. Only one negative.... having a food establishment on site that you cannot charge to your room? Seriously?

First, this company comes up as a “sponsored” listing when you search directly for the hotel you want to book at. It’s deceiving and you think you are directly booking through the hotel. I’m sure this site is fine if you don’t need to change your reservation. I called the number they provided and the hotel couldn’t find my reservation anywhere. They said I booked through Expedia and that was news to me. Called Expedia and couldn’t get to a real person to change my reservation. The ONLY way to contact this business is through email. I didn’t get a response until 4- 5 days after I emailed them. By then I had cancelled the reservation because I thought it was all a scam. What a needless amount of stress this has caused me. I was 100% sure to book directly through the hotel the second time. Now, I wait and hope the refund goes through for my cancelled reservation.

Everything was simple and straightforward.

The location is great, since the Casco Viejo is a cool area to walk around and enjoy with many historical sites, shops and restaurant/bars. The hotel itself is luxurious, and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. Their in house restaurants are great as well. Would absolutely stay there again.
