I was able to get a similar policy for my car but with significant savings. The agent was excellent, explaining all the benefits and meeting my expectations.

We asked our specific agent at least twice to help us lower our rates. All he did was explain our policy and when we suggested we needed to look elsewhere, he just said insurance is high everywhere. There was no in-depth examination of the possibility we were overinsured and I do not recall any comparisons with affiliated insurance companies. About three weeks ago, my wife called the regular customer service number about our rates and was assisted by one of their agents. After about an hour and a half with a kind and patient gentleman, we had reviewed our condo coverage and discovered that we are carrying too much insurance for our small space. He adjusted our coverage to what is needed and then proceeded to check policies with other companies to see if he could find us better auto rates. And he did. We have been paying $429.74 month for insurance and this gentleman, just by spending quality time with us and asking questions to determine how much coverage we need, is saving us several hundred dollars a year. The condo policy was about to renew at $651 a year and now we are paying. $335.76 per year. Then this gentleman placed us with GEICO after comparing auto rates and we have exactly the coverage we need for less money. After sharing my frustration with TG, our assigned agent, I received the question can we talk so you can share your experience with me? It is not a customer’s place to explain what should have been done. This is his industry, this is his paycheck. He could have done for us what this gentleman did. When we expressed to the gentlemen our anger and inability to understand why we were paying so much, he stated Those people are focused on sales. We have owned our condo since 2015. And we have been over insured the entire time. And we have been struggling to make these payments as insurance costs have risen even more. This company says it is working for the good of educators. That has not been our experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused and regret that your experience did not reflect the level of service we strive to provide. Taking the time to review coverage and ensure it aligns with each customer’s needs is an important part of that commitment, and we’re sorry your initial experience fell short of those expectations. However, we are very glad to hear that one of our customer service representatives took the time to thoroughly review your policies, answer your questions, and help identify coverage and pricing options that better fit your needs. Your feedback is invaluable, and we take it seriously as we work to improve the experience we provide. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If there’s anything further we can do to assist you or answer any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, as we always want to ensure you feel supported and confident in your coverage.
