Advanced stuff is just not for me. I perfer learning about different techniques, and the fastest way to get good at them. I really loved the courses before the advanced stuff. I hope there's more technique driven courses in the future. Put it like this there better be, or its a NO from me.

I will not sign up for anything that uses classic high-pressure sales tactics like GMM does. I've been around too long to know better than dealing with such people. It should be a big red flag to everyone when you see long videos promising unrealistic and fast outcomes. You will NOT quickly be playing like the masters. Another rip-off is when someone places arbitrary values on products and then says you can get them at a steep discount but only if you act before a clock runs out. These and other high-pressure sales tactics are classic signs of a scam. There's no way I will ever deal with anyone who uses such tactics like GMM. That's too bad. I might have signed up if their sales tactics were less tacky.

Hi Bob, Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts—we appreciate all feedback, even when it’s critical. We understand that high-energy sales messaging isn’t for everyone, and we hear your concern. Our intention is never to pressure or mislead but to offer clear explanations of what our programs include and how they’ve helped thousands of members improve their playing. The value comparisons and limited-time offers are designed to highlight savings—not to deceive—and we aim to be transparent about what’s included. That said, your point is valid: real progress on guitar takes time, effort, and consistency. While we do provide structured paths and tools to help accelerate learning, we never claim to deliver instant results. We always encourage members to approach learning with realistic expectations and a long-term mindset. We’re truly sorry that our approach came across the wrong way to you. Your feedback helps us strike a better balance between enthusiasm and clarity, and we appreciate you giving us a look. If you ever have questions or want to revisit what GMM offers, we’re always here at [email protected]. Cheers, The GMM Team 🎸

Signed up to get a pdf to look through while I consider getting lessons in the future. Sat through a long boring ad which I guess was fair enough but when the email for the pdf arrived it was blocked through browser. Now they have my email but have left a very bad impression am probably going to block their emails and look elsewhere for lessons. It's a shame because the YouTube content was so good but I just get scammy vibes from these guys

Hi Eva, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We want to make sure your experience is acknowledged and addressed. We’re really sorry about the issue you encountered when trying to access the PDF. You're absolutely right to expect a smooth and straightforward experience, especially after taking the time to watch the intro video. Unfortunately, we’re currently dealing with a technical issue that’s temporarily blocking access to our PDF downloads. Our team is actively working to restore access as quickly as possible. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, and we apologize for the poor first impression. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed our YouTube content, and we’d love the opportunity to earn your trust again. Please reach out to [email protected] if you would like to be notified once our PDF's are assessable again. Thanks again for your feedback—and for giving us a look in the first place. Cheers, The GMM Team 🎸

I haven't made time to listen to many of the lessons but I found the content great but I was really disappointed that the company would be so low to send me an email offering a free CD and then sneakily add a recurring monthly additional lessons! After I had paid over $100 several years b4 for a bunch of lessons, I have been a poor student by not going to the lessons just a few times but come on guys, don't offer a free CD and then try to add on a recurring monthly subscription! To your credit you did mention that in the fine print but still!! Lean towards honest marketing not slip something in at the last minute! Come on you are too talented to do that!!!

Hi there, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We're really glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the content you’ve accessed so far, but we’re sorry to hear that the VIP trial experience left you feeling disappointed. We want to be fully transparent: when claiming the free CD offer, it’s clearly stated during the checkout process and in the terms that it includes a free two-week trial of our VIP Club, which automatically renews at $27/month unless canceled during the trial period. This is not something we try to hide, and we make sure that information is presented before completing your order. That said, we understand how easy it can be to miss a detail like this, especially when you're excited to jump into learning. Your feedback about the tone of our marketing is appreciated, and we’re always working on improving how we communicate with our members. If you have any questions about your account or need assistance with anything moving forward, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at [email protected]. We're here to help! Thanks again for being part of the GMM community—we hope you'll continue exploring the lessons whenever you're ready. Cheers!

I have been a member of GMM for a few years and made good progress with the courses. I had a lot of faith in Charlie Wallace and the guys. So much so that I signed up for the over 50's course even though the cost was quite high for me. It went wrong and I wasn't enrolled and e mails were ignored (which is unusual for them). Eventually made contact and course was no longer available as full. Was offered a refund or 12 weeks of Elite with a pro guitarist on 1 to 1 basis. I took it......DISASTER. It went badly. Every week was like starting anew every week. Unprofessional. In fairness, the tutor said he had no info on me, I just appeared on his calendar. Promised backup docs were never sent unless repeatedly asked for. I requested a change of tutor after 6 weeks, which was done and that was a lot better if you ignore the tutor not turning up twice. Due to all the cock ups, I expected GMM to do something to compensate me and bring me on board again. That is ,put a smile on my face. I sent a two page summary of my experience. Result... an e mail from someone I never heard of saying ...Thanks, we were surprised that you didn't enjoy it!!!!! He said they would use my experience to improve things and make sure Charlie was aware. I kinda feel my trust in them has been broken and so I am looking elsewhere and drifting away from GMM although I have lifetime access to their courses which I will use BUT will never ever pay for any special courses and the like. Very disappointed with GMM. Feel VERY let down.

We’re finally on Trustpilot, and we didn’t want to leave this message without a response! First and foremost, thank you for being a member of GMM for so many years and for trusting us with your learning journey—it truly means the world to us. We’re deeply sorry to hear about your experience with the over-50s course and the follow-up lessons. This is absolutely not the standard we strive to deliver, and we recognize how frustrating this must have been. It’s especially concerning to hear about the communication challenges, scheduling issues, and lack of preparation on our part during your Elite sessions. These situations are far from the level of professionalism and support you deserved. We appreciate you sharing such detailed feedback at the time, and we’re committed to ensuring these kinds of issues don’t happen again. Your input helped us re-evaluate and improve processes like onboarding tutors and responding to member concerns more promptly. While we can’t undo the disappointment, we’d love the opportunity to make things right and rebuild your trust in GMM. Please feel free to reach out directly to [email protected] if you’d like to discuss this further—we’re here to listen and help in any way we can. Thank you again for sticking with our courses. We’re genuinely sorry for letting you down and are determined to do better.
