I've been using Shippo for several years now for my eBay business - they've really nailed the shipping interface - all options on a single page for adjustment - they've really minimized the number of clicks it takes to get multiple shipping labels printed, saving you TIME!!!

I can't begin to explain how much I've saved using shippo. It is an excellent, intuitive service that is an absolute necessity for anyone printing labels regularly. Pick goshippo for all your shipping needs. It is very simple to use and navigate.

I urge caution before using Shippo as a third-party mailer for international shipping. You may be charged for unexplained customs & handling fees for which Shippo will provide you no documentation and for which the actual mailing party (like UPS) will be baffled b/c they have no record of the charges claimed by Shippo. A month after a package was shipped via Shippo to Canada, I was charged over $100 worth of customs & handling fees - about six different charges - for which neither Shippo nor UPS could provide any paperwork/ proof. The charges came directly from Shippo themselves. No one would provide me with proof that these charges were made to Shippo on my behalf, which should be standard if they were then charging me in return to reimburse them. What's more, when I dropped the package off at UPS, I consulted with a rep to make sure all paperwork was in order & that I wouldn't be liable for any customs fees. A month later these fees were deducted from my credit card with no prior notice or invoice. No receipt/ documentation from Customs was provided. The only "proof" that was provided were bullet pointed charges typed into the platform by someone at Shippo. When I inquired about these charges, I received one standard response from Shippo. It then took Shippo FOUR MONTHS to respond to me. At that point I'd already closed my account & forgotten about this aggravation, deciding to just let it go. In the customer service email four months later, "Stephanie" said that I WAS erroneously charged & that neither she at Shippo nor UPS could find a reason or documentation where I'd been charged by customs. But she stated that even though Shippo recognized these charges were in error that the company wouldn't reimburse me for the charges or do anything further - although I could open a new claim for investigation if I found the recipient was also charged, but no guarantees. I responded asking if I was reading her email correctly and that Shippo was admitting it knew I was wrongly charged but would do nothing to make it right. She responded that, yes, I had been erroneously charged but that Shippo wouldn't reimburse me for the false charges - no matter who made them erroneously. She confirmed that was correct, then proceeded to close the ticket so that I couldn't give a customer service rating directly to Shippo. Very disappointing, to say the least, but I'll let this go and move on to work with a competitor in their space, of which there are many. I just felt the need to warn others of the possible complications of using a third party shipping platform when shipping internationally. And also, if you ever find yourself in need of customer service from Shippo, don't even bother. Just move on.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Lied about when a package would arrive then closed completely so there is no way to fix the issue. Now my frozen package is going to melt over the weekend and shippo couldnt care less 0% chance I will ever use them again. This package is going to an NFL player and I dont know what Im going to do to fix this but shippo doesnt even care enough to answer. Do yourself a favor buy directly through UPS or Fedex. Your rates will be the same but you will actually be able to talk to real people unlike with goshippo THESE PEOPLE SUCK!

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. First and foremost, we would like to apologize about the issue you came across. Looking through our internal tools, it seems like you reached out to our Support team during our offline hours, which unfortunately explains why none of our representatives were able to chat with you. However, it looks like someone from our Support team was able to connect with you once working hours resumed and had resolved this issue by discussing how our estimated transit times work and by providing a refund. We would like to clarify that the transit time you see when you purchase a label on Shippo is the estimated transit time that's provided directly by the carrier itself. Shippo does not decide shipping times at all - it just displays what the carrier tells it to show. That means if you were to recreate the same shipment using the carrier's website and use the same exact details you entered in when you created the label through Shippo, you will be able to see that the carrier provides the same estimated days of delivery that is shown in Shippo. For future reference, if you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to [email protected]. If you prefer chatting with one of our Support members, please feel free to give us a call at your convenience at (415)-779-7447 and we'd be happy to help. We offer Phone Support M-F from 9-5PM PST. Thank you, Shippo Support

Been using them fine for over a year. Had to file my first insurance claim. My buyer had requested a refund from the platform we used for our transaction. My buyer got refunded immediately. As the item was damaged in transit I couldn't win my appeal. As he got paid, he didn't need me anymore and the platform closed conversations between the two of us. Shippo's insurance department creates a system of small fine prints that NEVER get you to get a claim approved. For starters, they require the involvement of your buyer which is nothing that your buyer ever agreed upon so legally, that's a breach of their own contracting. Then they added on random requirements for my first emailed list of requirements did not have a repair estimate nor have I ever heard of such a requirement nor is it in their own policies or terms of the agreement. Lastly, they told me basically 'tough ****' when I stated my buyer was not cooperating. Do yourself a favor and find anyone else when dealing with shopping insurance.

Shippo used UPS to ship a framed lithograph from Georgia to Las Vegas. The litho was packaged by a professional packager. UPS crushed the package and threw the original lithograph away. Negligence and incompetence to the Nth degree. What a waste.
