We found our perfect puppy, Rex, on Good Dog. We had an amazing experience and Big Timber Bassets & Bloodhounds was absolutely wonderful. The owner, Lexi, is super responsive and you can tell she truly cares about her puppies. She kept in touch with us throughout the entire process and was professional and kind. If you are looking for a healthy and happy basset or bloodhound, we highly recommend Big Timber Bassets & Bloodhounds!

I was looking for a second puppy after the death of my cockapoo companion of 14 years and found Emily and Sugar and Spice. I was determined to find an ethical breeder and certainly found that in Emily. Most important to me was her frankness about what she felt would and wouldn’t work for me and my unique circumstances — there was no rush to sale. She not only let me think seriously about my decision, she encouraged me to do so. She takes the health and well-being of each beautiful puppy seriously and goes the extra mile to make sure she is passing on healthy, happy, well-socialized pups. I am eager to write this review, in part, because, with Emily’s support and assistance, I decided to go a completely different direction — different breed, rescue not well-bred pup — but will be recommending Emily and Sugar and Spice to anyone looking to adopt one of the absolute best dogs in the world.

I was looking to purchase a Dutch Shepherd from a reputable breeder. I found just that on Good-dog. Mike and Jennifer are extremely knowledgeable, honest, professional and willing to work with you no matter the situation. I have had my puppy now for 2-weeks and she was everything I was looking for. If you’re looking for a breeder that knows what they’re doing and will listen to your needs, reach out to Our Shepherds L.L.C. FYI, if you pay on good-dog website, they will charge you 10%.

Hi Jacob, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It's so exciting to hear that you've connected with a responsible Good Dog breeder and had such a great experience. We love happy tails! The fee that you were charged was our Protection & Support fee. This fee is optional at the time of payment. However, we do always recommend paying with Protection & Support so that you’ll receive the payment protection and lifetime support you and your new pup deserve. Also, when you make a full dog payment with Protection & Support, you receive free access to our Puppy Training Program. This program includes online courses, live coaching, and can connect with other owners in our private community group to help you raise a healthy, happy dog. Please reach out to us anytime if you’d like support accessing the Puppy Training Program or have any other questions. You can contact us at [email protected], or by phone at 855-446-6336. Congratulations again on your new pup! Warmly, The Good Dog Team

I like the platform and what they offer breeders and families. It is just ironic Good Dog can request reviews from breeders and families for their platform but the breeder is not eligible for Owner Stories (reviews) unless the full payments go through Good Dog. A number of families deposit through Good Dog but want to see the puppy and pay the balance in person. Good Dog won't trigger reviews for those so the breeder is penalized. That needs addressed please. Reviews benefit everyone.

Hi Pam! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We’re happy to share more about our Verified Owner Stories feature, in case it’s helpful. We invite your new owners who make a full payment on Good Dog to share their Stories, because this allows us to verify that only owners you have had genuine experiences with can share their Stories. Payment on Good Dog is always completely free for Good Breeders to use. Plus, Good Breeders receive 100% payment protection on every transaction - we guarantee you’ll be paid in full and you’re never at risk of chargebacks or reversals. Your buyers also always have the option to pay through Good Dog with zero fees. We recently released a new QR code feature on our mobile app (available for both Android and iOS users) that makes securely collecting final dog payments in-person easier than ever! All your buyer needs to do is simply scan your unique QR code to easily initiate a payment through Good Dog. You can always reach out to your Good Dog Specialist by emailing [email protected], and they will happily answer any of your questions about our payment system and how to easily collect payments through Good Dog in person! Thank you so much for being a valued member of our community, Pam! Warmly, The Good Dog Team
