Entire team is predatory. Constantly calling and won't leave you alone when you never requested information from them. They buy lists of businesses to predatory cold call and try and get you to sign up for a terrible loan. Do not work with them. Plus, they didn't even watch Bad Bunny at the super bowl.

Do not use these services. Protect your credit score because their inquiries may damage it for no real benefit. Terrible experience—and this was only during the exploratory stage. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I had actually used their services. Your credit score is extremely valuable, and they provide no guarantee that their process won’t hurt it with a hard inquiry. What a disaster. A person named “ Dayanna “ was incredibly unprofessional, trying to make me feel small while bragging about handling million-dollar transactions with her own money. She calls herself an investor with her “own capital.” I tried to explain that the proposed application clearly states authorization for a hard inquiry—even at the exploratory stage—and she immediately became defensive, constantly interrupting and speaking with arrogance and superiority. If this is a service company, they absolutely should not have someone like her interacting with clients. And if she was simply having a bad day, she certainly has the ability to ruin someone else’s.

Somehow, this business got my phone number and I accidentally answered the phone call because I am in process of finding business funding from almost 2 dozen other companies that offer this. Well, the guy Cesar was very charming at first as is typical but when it came down to it to put their money where their mouth is, they wanted me to pay $1000 upfront to them so they could send me a contract. !!!! Now that’s the most insane thing I’ve ever heard in my life and of course there’s nothing in writing as to what would happen after I sent the money to them. But because this was so insane and I had some time on my hands, I wanted to see what other insanities they would require from me. They required all the normal paperwork for a loan but when it came down to it, they kept lowering the Offer. Of course, this is throughout about a week worth of constant phone calls, and texts. They insisted that I send them $1000 and I insisted that they send me a contract to look over before I would send them $1000. They refused. Then I started getting texts from Cesar. He sent me videos of the Dept that he works in at Gemini. He sent me a partial picture of his drivers license. He began texting me and telling me all about his background and his childhood and his political and religious views which I graciously listened - Neither agreeing or disagreeing. Then he began to text me that Republicans and Democrats are stupid and that he is an independent. Well, I explained to him one sure way to kill a deal is to talk about politics, religion and especially his opinion. He then began harassing me because I refused to send in the $1000 since I didn’t have an agreement to look over and then he actually got mad and told me that I was a pedophile lover. !!!!! I had inadvertently disagreed with one of his political views. So although this company is registered I have contacted my state Attorney General’s office so that they could look into Gemini Business Funding. I have filed a complaint along with all the copies and screenshots of everything that was sent to me, Including the harassing and slanderous remarks. What ethical business would bully customers trying to force them into sending them $1,000 With no proof or agreement whatsoever of anything???? What ethical business would allow their employees to harass customers??? Gemini Business Funding is responsible and liable for the actions of their employees. And yes it is 12-18% interest PLUS their ‘fees’ of around 10% of whatever your loan amount would be. So on a $200k loan you would pay them around $20k and still pay 12 to 18% on the 200,000 instead of the balance of 180,000 In every state there are over 5000 of these companies out there. I am learning about them and I am learning how they get their funding. Who are the people that would fund your business???? And where the heck are they getting the money????? Because these are not banks that are lending you money. **** NOTE: GEMINI just flagged my review for illegal or defamatory or offensive content. Well, hey Gemini, you tell the state Attorney General’s office that and you explain to them how you misrepresent clients. Also, my property value hasn’t changed in a week nor has it changed in the past four months except to increase. So Gemini is stating a non-fact. I won’t let this go. Customers need to be aware that these practices are not ethical.

We want to reassure readers of three key points upfront: 1) The $1,000 deposit mentioned was a lender-required due diligence fee, not a Gemini charge. 2) The prospect received and signed a term sheet before any deposit was requested. The lender does not issue final contracts until the due diligence fee is paid and the term sheet is in place — this is a standard step in hard money lending. 3) Fees and rates are set by the lender, and Gemini’s commission is built into that structure — we don’t add extra costs for borrowers. For context: Gemini is a direct funder, and in this case we were brokering a deal through a reputable hard money lender that we’ve successfully completed dozens of transactions with on behalf of other businesses. That lender required a $1,000 due diligence deposit after the signed term sheet in order to move forward — a common and accepted practice in hard money lending. The loan amount was adjusted during underwriting because the property value was different from how it was initially represented. These adjustments were made by the lender’s underwriting process, not by Gemini. The fees and interest rates referenced are also charged by the lender. Gemini’s compensation is paid from the lender’s existing fee structure, meaning borrowers are not paying an additional layer of fees to Gemini. We also want to be clear that Gemini takes professionalism very seriously. We expect all interactions to be respectful and constructive, and if there was any miscommunication that caused discomfort, we sincerely regret that. We welcome the opportunity to review matters directly and ensure clients feel supported throughout the funding process. Our mission is to help businesses access capital transparently and responsibly. We stand by that commitment in every transaction and are always available to answer questions or provide clarity about how the process works.
