Box was damaged and bike seat was damaged. Seat leather was cut.

I wanted the NU-STEP TR4 or 5 but you talked me into purchasing the Spirit CRS800S saying it was a better machine with more features. This was a mistake! If I had a way to return it I would, it is not better than the NU-STEP. The Spirit feels cheap, the range of motion is poor not providing the quality of exercise of the NU-STEP. I hit and damage my knees getting on and off the machine. I started off on level 5 then had to go to 7 before feeling any kind of resistance, a very poor machine to try and get in shape. The Spirit is way over priced for what it providers. The dot matrix display is so hard to read, making the machine look like a cheap knock-off. The water bottle holder is behind the seat making it hard to retrieve while riding. The are rest do not fold up to get on seat. I have taken pictures of the foot pedals and the closeness to the arms and the over-sized hand grips. I am 6'2" 315 lbs. Maybe the tech you sent out to assemble the unit put it together incorrectly, which causes my knees to hit the arms trying to get on and off. If I were able to upload pictures here I could show you the problems. Not enough clearance. 20% restocking fee? Is this 20% of the price of the unit. I don't mind waiting or paying a higher price for the NU-STEP, at least I have used it and know it is a better machine that fits my needs.

Joseph, at the time of purchase we presented options on what is available for linear motion steppers. You were looking into a preowned Nustep model which is not available due to demand. The model we suggested as an alternative has been one of our bestsellers. This is a 262lb commercial grade peice of equipment with a 450lb weight capacity. It also carries the strongest warranty in the industry at 2 years labor and 10 years parts. The Spirit model offers a larger range of motion at a 12.5" stride vs the Nusteps 8.5" stride. Matrix displays are standard and used in commercial settings. This one happens to be backlit which makes it easier to read. The CRS800S is thousands of dollars less than a T5xr and priced accordingly. We have received dozens of 5 star reviews on this model. I'm not sure how you are hitting your knees if the machine has been assembled correctly. We will be reaching out to see if any adjustments need to be made to the equipment.
