Rental process was great from start to finish. Our generator unexpectedly gave out 3 days into our 7 day trip but the manager comped our additional mileage (200 over what we paid for) for the inconvenience. He didn’t give any push back and was empathic of the situation.

Overall renting from El Monte was an ok experience. A few things that i liked were the easy pickup process and the easy online booking. Some of the things i didnt like were the condition of the RV, and the drop off process took forever. The RV we picked up was a 2025 model but had almost 50k miles on it. You could tell it was pretty beat up, the alignment was way off, the ride was terrible, everything was squeaking and making noise as we drove down the street. The locking compartments didnt work and many things just were damaged or broken. Overall, for our first RV experience it was ok, however next time we will be more specific about the type, model, and condition of the RV we rent so we can get a better experience.

Hi NS We’re very sorry to hear that the RV you received was in poor condition. That’s deeply concerning, and it’s not the experience we want for any of our guests. Our team is committed to preparing each RV with care, and we regret that this wasn’t reflected in your rental. Thank you for sharing your experience—we appreciate your honesty and hope your travels still brought some memorable moments.

The vehicle pick-up in Dallas and return to Miami were handled competently by the staff. But the vehicle was old. The main window and door were not airtight, as well the slider and rattled when we were driving, so there was a lot of noise. There was mold in the bathroom and on the shower curtain. We would have appreciated having a motorhome in better condition.

We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We're glad the Dallas and Miami staff provided competent service. We're sorry the motorhome's condition, including the noise and mold, detracted from your experience. We will address these maintenance issues.
