Your invoice need to be insurance claim ready. And my insurance calling with no reply to help to process is terrible for the web base vet care and the insurance company to process the best options for pet parent care medication insurance company is the future that link the industries together. So my comment is good for all three industries

The service is ok, the vet was very professional . But if you need immediate care it’s better to go to your local vet since their pharmacy takes a minimum of 4 days to send you the meds even if you pay for expedite shipping and they don’t work weekends.
Response from Dutch Vet· Mar 24, 2026
We appreciate your feedback. We're glad the vet's professionalism stood out. We are not meant to replace urgent care and always recommend if you need immediate medication to go in person. We do offer standard, priority, and rush shipping options to get your order a lot quicker. We also offer the ability to transfer to a local pharmacy.

Overall it is a good value but almost everything requires extensive manual follow up. Getting prescriptions has been exceptionally problematic, although eventually I do get them. Watch that orders sent to 3rd party pharmacies are complete, and be prepared to run around. Is it worth it for the value? Yes. Could it be better? A lot.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about the prescription issues and incomplete orders. We will pass along your sentiment. Your feedback helps us improve.

The vet was on time, the instructions were clear what they expected and what app to get so that you could use the service. The vet was friendly, easy to speak with and understand. She talked with me about each of my dogs issues. She checked him up and down. I feel she was correct on his diagnosis. She sent me a list of medication that day to check over and choose what I wanted and how I wanted it shipped. Some meds will be sent monthly or if I wanted to pay for them all they would send them all. My issue is I paid two days ago and I find no update the meds were shipped. We are heading now into a weekend so if they are not shipped today then we must wait through the weekend. I feel meds should be shipped the day they are purchased if paid for before 5 pm. Thankfully my dog is only annoyingly sick and not Urgent sick. So my score is not for the doctor or service but for the when will you mail and update me about the medication I purchased?

We’re glad to hear that you had a positive visit with the veterinarian and that the consultation was helpful for you and your dog. We’re sorry for any confusion regarding the status of your medication order. We understand how important it is to receive clear updates once an order has been placed. We’d be happy to look into this for you. Our team has reached out here to gather a few additional details so we can locate your account and review the order status. Once we have that information, we’ll be able to provide an update and ensure everything is moving forward as expected. The hidden fees are disingenuous. $5 "Pharmacy Processing Fee," + "Free Shipping," which one has to wait a week for. I can understand making money from the meds, but Dutch certainly is not selling them at cost to their clients, thus the $5 processing fee is simply a hidden charge. The vet was friendly, but the back-end experience, i.e., "hidden financial surprises," takes away from the positive exam experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your honest feedback. We understand how unexpected fees can feel frustrating. The $5 pharmacy processing fee is not meant to be hidden, it helps support the operational costs of our pharmacy, including prescription verification, safe handling, and fulfillment by our licensed pharmacy team. We offer free standard shipping, which typically arrives within 4–7 days, as well as rush shipping options that deliver within 1–3 days for those who need medication sooner. We aim to provide flexible options so pet parents can choose what works best for their timeline and budget. In addition, while we work to keep our prescription pricing competitive, we do offer price matching if you find a better non-sale price elsewhere. Our goal is to make medications both accessible and affordable. We’re glad to hear your experience with the veterinarian was positive, and we’re sorry that the checkout experience detracted from that. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving transparency and the overall experience for pet parents. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts.
