I found a great caregiver for my dogs, Laura, through DogVacay!

I feel so confident about the two hosts I have used in the past. I receive photos, videos, and texts letting me know how the stay is going. I could never go back to kennels. The peace of mind I have while I'm away cannot be underestimated.

We used Becky in long Beach CA as our sitter. She was fabulous and kind. We will always use dog vacay after this experience. I recommend Becky if you are in Long Beach. She took care of our Chihuahua Dagger, she took him for walks, have him lots love and made our vacation even better than expected

I needed a dog boarding option close to home that would be home-like for our two Golden Retrievers. When I found Sandy I knew it would be a great fit. She has a great home and yard and even comes with a Golden of her own for our dogs to play with! She has been available on short notice and provides a safe, fun experience. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for this service.

In my first experience I had trouble when I signed up and that first appt. My credit card was charged but I hadn't received any indication that the appt had been made. After trying to figure out how to reach them, I called into some kind of answering service & the person I spoke to didn't understand and couldn't go into the website see if I had a booking or not. He said he would have to call someone and it would be soon. It was the next day before anyone called and I thought he was rather rude. The problem was fixed, I left my dog for a week with a sitter. I made a second booking for an overnight and everything from booking to writing about my sitter went just fine. I sensed they had grown into better business practices after several months. It's a great idea & a very good way to leave your pet.

We were connected with a great dog sitter to help us when traveling. The site was easy to use and helped us connect with a terrific service. There was another dog sitter who we tried to contact a few times, who didn't respond. It would be good to make sure those on the website are still active.
