Your host Mindy F. in Spokane, WA has been taking great care of my elderly dog when I have to leave her behind. I recently cancelled an out of town trip, and would have feld very confident Mindy would take great care of her. Thanks

Really love the functionality, ease of use and the community that uses your site. The reviews are extremely helpful and has taken out the difficulties of finding a good reliable dog sitter out of the equation. You can easily see what people have experienced, read a brief bio of the sitter and set up meet & greet through the system. The fact that no money exchanges hands is also helpful. I have had great experience with DogVacay and will continue to use it. Thank you!

Koda went for another stay with Linda. He was comfortable returning because it's obvious that he likes staying there. He made himself right at home. That makes it so much easier for us to leave him. We got updates which we loved. We wouldn't think of leaving him anywhere else. :)

I met a sitter at a doggie park and she recommended the sight because perhaps their might be one more geographically suitable for my situiation. Turns out that their are plenty to choose from and I found the perfect one right between home and work from a sitter that loves my dog as much as I do and is in constant contact with me concerning Duke (my dog). I have had issues with the website on occasion but they were promptly resolved on a holiday and late night last minute.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Deborah, where my dog goes each time I'm away. The only downside to using Dog Vacay is that you have to pay in full at the time of booking. So, even though one of my trips wasn't for a couple of months, The charges came through on my visa.

Hi Sandi, Thank you so much for taking the time to you leave your feedback. We are thrilled to hear you and your pup have found such a wonderful Host in Deborah. I do hope I can provide some clarity on our payment process. The charge at the time the Reservation is accepted essentially holds a spot in the Host's home. The funds are held in escrow so if there are any date changes or cancellations that need to be made we can always process partial or full refunds as needed and set forth by your Host's cancellation policy. We believe in doing so, we protect our Hosts to ensure payment, and protect our Guests to allow for full refunds should the service not be rendered, or be rendered unsuccessfully. Warm regards, DogVacay

Dogs were good. Payment method good. 20% of total fee for your services is too much. Something lower, 10-15% would be more reasonable, and competitive with other services.

Hi Paul, Thank you for leaving your feedback. At DogVacay we are always working to provide a high level of service and security while keeping costs as low as possible. As much as we would like to lower the percentage we take from our amazing and dedicated Hosts, it is just not feasible. After covering the credit card charges, PayPal fees, insurance on each Vacay, marketing efforts, and 24/7 Customer support, we have done much assessment on the fee we must charge in order to sustain the business model. With that, we do genuinely appreciate the feedback and will absolutely pass it along to our Executive Leadership team. Warm regards, DogVacay
