I have been very pleased with the person I located on DogVacay, Catherine, for boarding our Wheaten Terrier, Finbarr. He comes back from his short stays in great form and very happy. She is located very near us so it's very convenient. I highly recommend this service.

Dog Vacay was such a good thing that my husband and I found. I am so glad we were able to meet so many good Dog Vacay hosts and great people. Pros: *Your pup in a home; not a kennel *Your pup socializing with other pups *Pups are tired afterwards (a tired pup is a happy pup :) *Hosts we've met so far are great and flexible Cons: (These are just minor, but could possibly improve the actual app and website overall) * There have been times that we've wanted to schedule when our host said he/she was free, and the time was "gray'd out" and she was insistent she was free that weekend. * When we decided to become hosts, we passed the background checks weeks ago and the icon is still not appearing on our profile

It was a very positive experience for both me and my dogs. Response time after emailing possible sitters was very impressive and they were friendly and considerate. The very first sitter I used was a great fit for us and updated me regularly with texts and photos while watching my dogs. I strongly recommend DogVacay!
