We had a last minute booking required for our 7 month golden doodle. The main 1-800 # customer service, quickly reached out to help with the booking.. Amazing within 2 hrs. !! Thank yu. Superbly satisfied. Our 2nd booking turned out to be a very professional dog handler . we were well assured of safety and a pleasurable experience for our puppy. Will book again!!

I found a local guy who was wonderful with my dog. I spent more than I would normally, but he was worth it. He took my dog for regular walks and she stayed in his house, not in a kennel.

This is the second time we have used Judy at DogVacay and I am still impressed with the quality of service and care that Judy has. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors. She provides a positive atmosphere for the dogs. I totally recommend her as a caretaker for your dog!

I randomly found DogVacay while frantically searching for a pet sitter since my friend who used to watch my dog moved away. I was skeptical at first, because I felt a little uneasy having a stranger in my home. DogVacay helped me search for people in my area who were within my budget, who could care for my pit bull (some people can be a little uneasy around pit bulls), and had experience with dogs of all kinds. The couple I found, a husband and wife, met with me a few days later, and they are so kind and warm that I instantly knew I could trust them in my home. DogVacay makes the payment process easy, they have a very kind Help Desk, and they make it simple to find someone who fits your needs. I have booked my sitters three times in the last 1.5 months, and each time is a positive experience. I was able to rate and review my sitters on DogVacay so other people could know how great they are. Lastly, DogVacay has a nice variety of emails they send out (not to frequently or infrequently) that has tips, reminders, local stories, and even little discounts sometimes. I really love the service, I love the community, and I feel I can trust DogVacay with my needs.

I am so thankful for DogVacay! I hadn't gone away since I got my sweet monster (approx. 5yrs) because I did not trust anyone to take good care of him. I had booked a short trip to Europe but when the people who were going to sit him weren't able to do so, I thought I was I going to have to cancel my vacation. Then I found DogVacay. It was easy to find a sitter that was both experienced with XL breads and that had the accommodations that would meet his needs. The credentials, detailed profiles, and meet&greet opportunity created the trust in both the host as well as DogVacay. I am more than thankful for finding DogVacay and my host, they gave me the peace of mind I needed to enjoy my vacation!

I am so glad we found this website! This was our first trip to go without our 9 month old puppy and we were worried about who to leave him with. We found an awesome girl who took care of Chipper for the entire week. We left worry free.

Nancy Smith, at DogVacay, made our dog, Feather, feel comfortable and safe at her home. This is not typical for Feather since she is a very nervous dog. Nancy is an intelligent and compassionate person who has a special way with dogs.

Kenji had a ball and was well taken care of.
