After a VERY crappy day dealing with TIME WARNER CABLE, I pretty much told them to kiss my....ahem...,and called Direct TV. Darrian took his time,listened to my needs ,and served me up a HUGE serving of Excellent Customer Service :)!!!! Thank you, I wasn't just a Number and a Dollar sign today.

Seth, helped me decide on changing to DirecTV; due to the money he saved us monthly (about $35) and we will have updated equipment plus HD on our Samsung TV. And, with a DVR we can dump commercials, which take up nearly 30 minutes of every hour of programming on some channels. Today's type of commercials are silly, stupid, un-priced goods for sale, drugs that can kill you and can be miss-understood by children causing dangerous or bad behavior. Why do we have to pay a TV provider and still have to watch commercials - a double jeopardy!? The FIRST provider that drops commercials from their TV channel presentations will make a FORTUNE! I worked with a couple different employees during my inquiry on receiving direct TV, each of them were excellent and answered each and everyone of my questions with no problems! I am very satisfied with the customer service that I have received, also a major plus that I am impressed with is that I could understand them, they all spoke perfect English! Thank you!

Prior to calling Direct tv , I called several other companies. It was always my misconception that bigger companies had better options. So I called them in order of their size. Verizon, time Warner, dish network, then finally Direct Tv. Fios was to expensive, time Warner wanted money for everything including a monthly fee for a box that was tooo pricey I believe, Dish network had the worst customer service and left me to think that they were after something more. Not to mention the condescending tone that left a bitter taste in my mouth. By the time I got to direct TV, I was in very sour bitchy mood, I was ready for an argument if I needed to go there..... I couldn't believe How pleasant I felt after completing my purchase with DRE.... In his greeting to me he sounded very "happy" (As if he was waiting for my call).., I explained to him what I needed and He offered a few ice breaker that loosened me up and I laughed ( although I had already plan to have a no nonsense, not accepting tricks attitude, his friendly demeanor made me more willing to listen ) . like a true and smart gentleman he waited for my listening ear before he proceeded to fill me in to the plans available. He laughed at my corny jokes and I laughed at his. At one point I found myself talking to him like he was a family member or a close friend. The mood I had before I called Direct tv was now gone in the wind and replaced with a pleasant conversation and friendly attitude from sales associate who properly responded questions and concerns .... at the end of the call, I was more than happy and somewhat wished DRE could remain my personal sales associate for further purchases. If all businesses could have CS representative like DRE they would be really successful. If he hasn't been promoted or given a raise in a while then he is long over due and your supervisors failed to see the potention he has. I once used to think that fios, TW, and Dish we're the top choices, after a conversation with DRE, I truly believe Direct TV is underrated and is a class act of it's own. I will stick with Direct TV till the end. 75% of the credit goes to DRE. Thank him for me and Thank you for such great CS and care.

We have been living without tv for a year because we didn't want a $200 plus bill. We were referred tl direct so I gave it a shot and called. Their customer service is actually very pleasant to talk to and the bundle packages are very affordable. I called Monday and they agree coming today (Tuesday) to set it all up. That was fast.

I had a very good experience with customer service in answering all of my questions about the company and deals. I had such good service that I decided to not look at any other companies!
