Delta Auto ProtectReviews of deltaautoprotect.com

ALL REPAIR SHOPS BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! they are a scam , don't pay invoices they give authorization numbers for and the excuse is they are always doing an update. Aaron Lynch personally does not return voice mails nor any one in the company for that matter. Last time I will deal with this company. Been waiting on payment over TWO MOTHS !

it has been 3 weeks and still no payment from company, after calling for two weeks straight I have come to the conclusion that they are a fraudulant company, and they do not exist. never and I mean NEVER buy a policy from this company. I do have to give it to them they have very good excuses every time I call for payment.

Another horrible experience dealing with this company. It seems every time I need to use my coverage I have to jump through hoops to get any kind of satisfaction. First the service reps are horrible. I had my car at my mechanic for almost 2 days before getting a response about if the repair was even going to be covered. Then finally my mechanic calls me to say my claim was being denied. MY MECHANIC. Not ANYBODY FROM DELTA. They claim the issue isn't covered in my contract. But the language in their contract leaves a lot open for interpretation. This is my 2nd review with this company in about a year and a half. I swear I regret ever dealing with this company. To anyone thinking about this company do yourself a favor and move on. Even if you have to pay extra it would be worth it in my opinion.

We recently bought a 2011 Chevy Traverse to accommodate our growing family. My sister recommended Delta Auto Protect since we were no longer under warranty and it has, by far been the BEST purchase we have ever made!!! Roughly six months or so after getting our Chevy the engine seized and needed a $4000 overhaul. Delta worked with our shop directly and took care of the bill!! Biggest relief of my life, especially with a new baby and small kids!! Use Delta Auto Protect! You won’t regret it!

Update 9/23 Finally received check via UPS Ground. ----------------- Update 9/20 I called yesterday and told Aaron that I have been waiting for over a month and have been told on 2 separate occasions that the check had been issued when it really hadn't been. I explain that I want the check sent with a tracking number so I can confirm it on my end. Aaron agrees to send the check overnight with tracking and that it would include a check number. He also asks if I would remove my negative review from yesterday in exchange for the tracking number. After receiving his email, the tracking number (1Z3F149X0393826622) is not valid, there's no check number included and instead of overnight, his email indicates that it was shipped UPS Ground. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I cancelled my policy on August 17th and was expecting a refund of $2000+ dollars. They told me it was been mailed that day and to wait 7 to 10 business days. 14 days later, no check. I call back on September 7th and speak with Aaron Lynch, who informs me that there was an issue with zip code so they would reissue a new check and wait 7 to 10 days. No check. I call again and speak with Mr. Lynch , who claims to be a manager that I've been waiting for a month now and that I want my check sent to me via certified mail with a tracking number. He informs me that he will email me with that information by close of business today. As of 6:30 pm, NO REPLY. I am now seeking other alternatives to get a reply. These people are not honest. You've been warned.

It took me a while to find a warranty company but then I spoke with Delta! I spoke with Kirk Savage (what a gem!) he got me the best plan to fit my budget. I needed to file my first claim last week and they came through perfectly. Kirk was sweet and understanding getting me and my wife a rental because we are out of town. Our weekend trip was not disrupted and we picked up the Cadillac today from the dealer. Excellent service

Someone recommended Delta Auto Protect to cover my Maserati and I purchased their plan about 8 months ago. I spoke with a gentleman named Rick Roma who was very knowledgeable and helpful!! Recently I was having some trouble with my brakes and turned out my car needed a new ABS Processor and Delta paid my shop directly with a credit card for the repair. I couldn’t be happier!

EDIT and UPDATE Shortly after posting my rant I received a phone call from Delta. I'm happy to say they they stepped up to the plate and took care of me. They did 'the right thing' and I commend them for that. Faith has been restored. 5 STARS for good customer services and quick response to my complaint ORIGINAL COMPLAINT BELOW============================ Not happy at this point in time. I have the Diamond Premiere plan on my 2011 CTS. My wife broke down with the car so we took it to our local dealer. At the time I was aware of a small water pump leak. No problem but this was not the issue at hand. It turns out that something called the Internal Mode Switch was bad or going bad. This is an internal part to the transmission and requires a fair amount of labor to replace. As such you would think that any drive-train warranty would cover this repair. I even asked around and EVERYONE I spoke to said yes, if you have any coverage on your drive-train, this should be covered. Well guess what, it isn't and neither are diagnostic costs. My second complaint is when I was on the phone buying the warranty I was told we don't care where you take your car or where you get the parts from. Just have the shop call in the details and we'll pay the bill immediately. Well it turns out that they operate like the medical field and they actually dictate how much they're going to pay. This obviously puts me in a bad place with a service writer that I have a long standing rapport with. The bottom line is they covered what they wanted to with the water pump replacement, abut 20% of the bill and I got stuck with the rest. NOT HAPPY AT ALL
