Dachman AudioReviews of dachmanaudio.com

Honestly. After 2 vocal sessions, simply Adding a V76 UAD plugin , this Mic is exactly as advertised and has climbed up the mic ladder. Gonna be my go to for album 2.

Wonderful sound!

Responsive tech support

The 87i is a good substitute for the far more expensive Neumann, which is a world class mic. The 87i has all the modes and controls of the Neumann and they work as expected. Like most users though, I most often set it to cardioid with the pad engaged. The 87se then is a natural addition that gives that functionality for less and sounds just like the 87i in cardioid mode. Great for vocals and acoustic guitar.

Terrific microphone and excellent customer support.

I had already used this mic in a studio and compared it to a real U87, believe the hype, this mic is phenomenal, perfect my my voice, guitar , whatever , pair it with a nice pre really brings out the detail , probably the best mic I have owned in the 25 years I have been making music for a living. The mic arrived quickly with all high quality accessories , and you can’t beat the price!
