We want to be fully transparent about two aspects of your experience: Regarding our refund policy: Every Curtarra curtain is artisan-crafted and custom-made to your exact measurements. Unlike mass-produced items, custom pieces cannot be restocked or resold once made — which is why a traditional full return is not possible. Our donation-refund policy was designed specifically to offer meaningful relief (a 70% refund) while ensuring the curtains find a second purpose through charity, rather than going to waste. We understand this may not feel like a fair trade-off given your circumstances, and we sincerely apologize that this policy wasn't communicated with greater clarity upfront. Regarding soundproofing: We also want to be honest — fabric curtains work through sound absorption, not full sound isolation. Even our highest-density weaves typically reduce ambient noise by around 8 decibels, which softens background sounds and reduces indoor echo, but cannot fully block out traffic or loud external noise. We understand that the rings have a 1.6-inch inner diameter and may not fit a 1.5-inch curtain rod properly (they can pass through but may not open smoothly). Since the motorized track is not suitable for ripple fold curtains, we have reissued you with a non-motorized track (which can be adapted to ripple fold curtains) to help you solve this problem.
