I haven't the ability to actually test for germs, bugs,etc on my cpap, however my cpap feels much cleaner now with the "SoClean" than without it. I recently had an operation and the folks at the preoperative physical, suggested I bring my own cpap into the hospital with me. I didn't bring the cleaning unit since I didn't know where there were electric outlets, and I was scheduled to be there only overnight. Due to a snowstorm, that overnight turned into 4 nights there and a week at my daughter's. But this gave me a chance to go back using the cpap without the automatic cleaner. It made a perceived difference. The only problem I've had was the lid closure on the humidifier. You need to close this hard. As opposed to the original cover, the new one will pop open and shut the machine down if you just close it normally.

We received the order for the filter pack one day before it was supposed to be delivered! We ordered 2 for a slightly discounted rate, as suggested by the person on the phone.

Great products at great prices. I bought SoClean 2 and a new CPAP mask hose. I had questions about whether my older Philips CPAP would require an adapter, so I called Cpapdirect customer service. I spoke with a friendly young lady and after a little research found that I did not need an adapter. It's great to get straight answers from friendly people instead of the drudgery you get from some folk. Thanks CpapDirect!
