Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the Free plan adjustments and the new 5-user limit. While we’re grateful to have supported teams at no cost for so long, updating our plans is necessary to sustainably maintain and improve the service moving forward. However, the freezing and the inability to create a group are definitely not intended behavior. We are currently updating our free plan for the first time in nearly a decade to ensure the highest standards of service for all our users. While certain advanced features now require a paid subscription, we still offer a free version of Clockify to help small teams track time. To clarify what happened, our sales team reaches out to offer guidance during trial evaluations so users get the most value out of Clockify. For contact details, our team relies on standard B2B database platforms (in this case, Apollo) to source business lines. We had no idea this was your personal number, had we known, we certainly would not have used it. However, we recognize that this does not change how frustrating the outcome was for you. We deeply respect your concerns regarding privacy and your decision to cancel your account, but also we would love the opportunity to welcome you and your team back to test Clockify in a completely self-serve, non-contact environment with no further sales outreach. As an immediate step, we are ensuring your details are permanently removed from our internal systems. Additionally, we would be glad to submit a formal request to Apollo on your behalf to have your information removed from their database as well. We are sad to hear that the notification did not reach you. Please reach out to our Support Team at [email protected] and we will be happy to activate a 30-day free trial that you can use to navigate the recorded data and export anything if required!

Hello Roman, we made sure to push the in-app notification a month before the changes occurred. We are sad to learn that you did not receive it. With that in mind, please feel free to reach out to our Support Team at [email protected] and request a 30-day free trial due to this - we'll be happy to grant it! By activating the trial, you will be able to access all of your previous data with rates and export all of the data if needed. It was definitely not our intention for users not to be notified.
