They won't even sell me medication not covered by insurance. What a waste of time ! Only use these people if your company makes you.

How is this company still allowed to operate? All the prior and current 1 star reviews reflect my lived experience as well. Incompetent and dangerous!!!

Caremark has zero non statin medications, zero approved weight loss medications except for patient with diabetes, denies doctors' scripts even when there's no alternative medication and denies even with "prior authorization" and patient was already on that medicine. Website is glitchy. Customer service unhelpful.

This is the 3rd time Caremark wouldn't fill my insulin prescription. I went 2 weeks without insulin last time. Now, my doc wants me to switch to a combo of short and long-acting insulin. Caremark provides a vague excuse for why they can't fill the 'script. My blood sugars have been 541, 414, 389, etc. taking my current long-acting insulin along with Jardiance (which is expensive!). This is SO WRONG. I pay $400+/month for a PPO private insurance that requires using Caremark.

CVS Caremark prefers that I use fentanyl to treat my pain than a GLP1. They denied my prior authorization for GLP1 that eliminated fentanyl from my pain treatment plan. They prefer you be on that than GLP1. I work nonstop to pay for this garbage insurance plan. I can't afford to spend any time tracking down doctors and awful insurance companies. If you can avoid them, absolutely do.

I actually get one prescription mailed to me because it's much cheaper. I actually asked the agent to set it up auto refill and she said she did. She did not and I'm glad I checked on the medication because I had three more days supply. It put me in a situation that the medicine is not going to reach me in time. I was also told that they can overnight it or do the next day. They cannot. They did this to me back to back not setting my medication up for auto refill. The only reason why I'm sticking with the mail order because it's much cheaper. It was so frustrating trying to get this done.

If your medicine isn't a cheap generic medicine, Expect to spend inordinate amounts of your time on the phone, following up with them, and asking them for information. What is true one month, and what they allow the next can be totally different. It makes getting critical medicine convoluted, difficult, and intentionally obtuse. If you need anything done, you need to talk to 3 departments. They seem to auto reject every request the first time, and then the second time things get done. They intentionally make the process as difficult as possible in hope you will give up. And every year, the premiums go up, and the company posts a ludicrous profit.

Why can’t we give negative stars. All they do is screw you. My husband just had hip replaced which they were aware of and pre approved and now wants additional information for pain medications? Lawyers find me! I’ve got more dirt
