Thank you for being such a clear and engaging instructor. Your teaching style made complex topics easy to understand, and I really appreciated how approachable and supportive you were throughout the course. I really liked how you used real-world examples to explain the material , it helped me connect theory with practice. The pacing of the course was just right, and your feedback on assignments was always helpful and encouraging.

I saw an ad on insta I guess and filled the form after which I got contacted for pay after placement. First I did not take it seriously but since it was free initially, I thought of giving it a try and guess what happened, today it's been 4th interview that has been conducted through Career Amend and I already have 2 offers from US based startups and that too work from home. Career Amend is not at all a scam but yes you also need to work hard. If you don't put your efforts in gaining the skills, any educational institution won't be able to provide you with any assistance be it is free or paid.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed experience! 🌟 We’re thrilled to hear about your success with multiple interviews and offers already — that’s truly inspiring. You’ve perfectly highlighted the essence of our Pay After Placement program: while we provide the structure, guidance, and opportunities, it’s the learner’s dedication and effort that turns it into real success. We’re proud to be part of your journey and wish you even greater achievements ahead. 🚀

Recently I got a call from an organization called Career Amend. The person I spoke with told me that I don’t have to pay anything to enroll in their program. Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but since there was no upfront cost, I figured I’d at least check it out. I filled out an application, and after that, they sent me a binding agreement. According to the document, it clearly states that I am not liable to pay anything unless I get a job, which they say falls under their PAP (PAY AFTER PLACEMANT) campaign. It sounds great on paper — no payment unless I’m placed — but I’m still confused. I haven’t paid anything yet, and they’re not asking for any fees up front. But since this is a binding agreement, I’m wondering if there’s a catch. I don’t want to sign something that could legally bind me in ways I don’t fully understand. Career amend is scam

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns. We completely understand that trying something new — especially with a Pay After Placement (PAP) model — can feel confusing at first. To clarify: ✅ No Upfront Fees – You are not required to pay anything to enroll or start your classes. ✅ Binding Agreement = Protection – The agreement is designed to protect you, not bind you unfairly. It simply states that fees apply only after you secure a job through our placement support. ✅ Student-First Approach – If no placement happens, you don’t pay. It’s as simple as that. ✅ Transparency – We encourage every candidate to carefully read the agreement and ask us questions before signing. Our team is always available to clarify any clause. We value honesty and fairness in our programs. The PAP model works only if our learners succeed — your success is our success. Career Amend is committed to providing quality training and genuine opportunities, not upfront financial risk.

Raj is a very patient and good teacher. At first I was facing a little bit of challenges understanding him but I can say I am very comfortable with him right now. I will recommend him for anytime. Sid was also very helpful explaining to us the concept of cybersecurity in a real life scenario. He is equally good to and I will recommend anytime.

Both Raj and Sid will be thrilled to know their efforts are making a positive impact. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we look forward to continuing to support your success! 🚀

Career Amend misled me into a loan agreement with Affirm for a program lasting 6–12 months. After attending just one demo session, I requested to cancel the program and the loan, which they had initially guaranteed would be possible. However, they refused to cancel, claiming that doing so would damage their reputation. Instead, they proposed that I keep the loan active—despite not receiving any services—and that they would provide a company card for me to use to make the monthly payments over the course of a year. This is clearly an unethical arrangement. After two days of discussions and repeated requests to cancel, they still refused, even though it should have been a simple process after the first demo class. Now, they’re essentially trying to use my name to keep a fake Affirm loan open, promising they’ll pay it back themselves. Given their track record so far, I don’t trust them to do that. I have filed a dispute with Affirm, although their resolution process can take up to 60 days—something that could be resolved in minutes if Career Amend was willing to cooperate. I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Please do not sign anything with Career Amend or enroll in any of their programs. This is a predatory trap, locking you into $5,000–$6,000 loans with little to no service. There are far better education and training programs out there without these kinds of unethical practices. I also referred two friends to Career Amend, and they are now facing similar issues. The staff argues and resists any cancellation requests, adding to the stress. If you’ve been affected, please file a dispute with Affirm and submit a complaint to the CFPB with full details of your case. Your voice can help stop this from happening to others.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your concerns and want to clarify a few important points: ✅ Loan Agreements: Enrollment through Affirm is always done with full transparency. Before any agreement is signed, all terms and repayment conditions are clearly shared with the student directly from Affirm. Career Amend does not have the ability to modify or enforce Affirm’s independent lending policies. ✅ Cancellation Policy: Students are always given the option to withdraw within the outlined timelines and according to the terms in the enrollment agreement. We never intend to pressure anyone into continuing against their will. ✅ Support & Resolution: We absolutely do not benefit from keeping “fake” loans open. If a student is dissatisfied after the demo or early stages, we work with both the student and Affirm to find the best possible resolution. Our reputation is built on student success, not forced participation. We understand your frustration and regret that your experience has led you to feel this way. Our team has reached out to Affirm and remains available to assist you in resolving this matter directly. We encourage any student with concerns to contact us through [email protected] so that we can review and address individual cases quickly and fairly. At Career Amend, we are committed to ethical practices and to ensuring our learners feel supported every step of the way.

The caller told me that he were responding to my application. He told me the course would be free. He then asked me to go to their webpage and apply, notwithstanding his claim I had already applied. The application website was branded "Affirm," an educational lender. He told me Affirm was going to give me $1500, so he needed my bank information. I told him I would not -- SO HE CURSED AT ME. IMHO - never trust someone who will curse at you if you exercise common sense like not giving your bank information over the phone.
Response from Career Amend· Aug 26, 2025
Thank you for sharing your concerns. We’d like to clarify a few important points: ✅ Career Amend never directly requests your banking details. However, when you complete an application with Affirm (our independent lending partner), their platform may require you to securely provide your bank information to set up autopay. This process is handled exclusively by Affirm for repayment purposes — not by Career Amend. ✅ All legitimate applications are processed directly on Affirm’s official website, and your information is protected under their security standards. ✅ Our team members are expected to act with complete professionalism at all times. Any instance of rude or inappropriate behavior is taken very seriously and does not reflect our values. We encourage anyone who feels uncertain to verify directly with us at [email protected] or visit our official website before sharing any information. Your trust and safety are our top priority, and we’re committed to full transparency in every step of the process.
