Tried the Butt Buffer out yesterday. Typically after 45 minutes or so would start to get the tingly butt thing. We did 300+ miles yesterday and NO butt issues. 2016 flhtcu with a 2020 seat.

What a difference Butt Buffer makes. We just tried ours for the first time. Rode just over 100 miles and our butts felt better than they ever felt before… Great product and easy to work with company.

For fourteen hundred miles over the past five days it was a god send. But I should have known better than to not cover the seat from direct sun for over four hours. It was not a pretty ride back to our hotel from the post event during those five days.

Like anything you leave in the sun, it's going to get warmer. It's a good idea to store the pad when not in use. It stays cooler. And no ones going to walk off with it if it's out of sight.

Absolutely one of the best purchases I’ve made. Makes a huge difference, 2 hours plus in the saddle and still comfortable.

Seat cushion helps slightly with comfort. If you leave it on the bike in the sun it gets hot as hell. Don’t think they are worth the money. Or my expectations were too high

I'm sorry you found it disappointing. Unfortunately they don't work for everybody. But that's why we have a return policy. As for the heat issue, leave anything, including a stock vinyl seat, out in the sun, it's going to get hot.

Only used it once and really like the feel. Not sure exactly what I’m supposed to do with the metal clips. I think I’m going to put Velcro 3M strips on the bottom of the seat pan. I think it’s going to help my tailbone pain.

The clips are designed to snap under the lip of the seat. What you're suggesting, however, is another option that certainly works.
