We are absolutely loving our Bruno stairlift. We find lugging a bag, a box, a drink so much easier. We keep a basket with handles handy to consolidate what needs to go up or down stairs. We wish we had bought the stairlift sooner.

Although we are not the Madisonville Church of Christ, I will leave our rating. This is our second Bruno Chairlift. The high quality of Bruno products, their installation and service played a large part in our selection of unit for our new Home. Brian Griffin and his staff complement the highest quality of the product.

The employees that took the measurements and then shortly after, installed the lift were excellent. They worked fast and the lift works great.

This is a good product but with a VERY bad design flaw. I am referring to the position of the switches under the arm rest which controls the up or down movement of the stair lift. My 87 year old mother has been using the stair lift for about four months now. Today she narrowly avoided falling and hurting herself badly while using the stair lift. As she was trying to mount the chair, her fingers accidentally pressed against the "up" button and the chair started moving. Given the slightly lower reaction times for people her age, the chair had advanced a few inches before she released the button causing her to almost lose her balance. For a product that touts various safety features, I am disappointed that the control buttons are immediately below the arm rest, and so easily activated. There should be an additional safety mechanism whereby the control buttons remain deactivated as long as the seat belt is not locked into place. Disappointing

Thank you for sharing your concern; safety is always our primary concern. While all stairlifts are operated via a control under the armrest, there is a tip that may help your mom. When a Bruno stairlift is at the top of a stairs, please make sure your mom swivels the seat to get on/off. If a Bruno stairlift is in a swiveled position, the unit cannot be activated. It will also allow her to safely get on and off the lift away from the staircase. Thanks again for your feedback.
