My first time shopping at Bohemian Mama and definitely the last. I had my eye on the Rattan Onion Basket Duo which are two (one small, one large) rounded baskets to hang on the wall or a hook and store your onions. I had to wait a long time because when I first saw them online, they were sold out. When they came back in stock I purchased 2 sets and waited. Once they arrived I carefully opened the box and gently pulled one out which is when I immediately noticed: these baskets are very delicate and fragile. The loop to hang the basket was barely hanging on by a thread. I thought maybe it was just the one, so I carefully removed all 4 of them. Every single one was woven the same. I could barely handle it without damaging them. I tried to hang it on the hook and so much pressure was put on the loop it was clear they wouldn't last.. and I hadn't even put any onions in it yet. No way these hold heavy onions. Maybe for 5 minutes while they took the photo, but not long term. Very disappointed. When I tried returning them I had to wait 3 days just for them to respond and then I was told they were going to charge me for return shipping because they didn't consider these "damaged". I guess if you sell something that isn't functional it's not "damaged" just how they sell them. Terrible products.

Hi- We are sorry that the item your purchased was not up to your standards. This item is unable to hold heavy items items and the weight limit for each of the size baskets (3lbs for large and 2 lbs for the small) is listed in the product description. Many people use these for decor. We were more than happy to take the product back for a return as you mentioned, but you are correct that we do not consider the item defective. Please feel free to reach out to me with any other questions you may have at [email protected].

Poor inventory, overpriced for quality of product
Response from Bohemian Mama· Sep 20, 2021
Hi- We are sorry you feel our inventory is overpriced or that we have poor inventory. The brand sets the prices of the 2 items that you ordered and the demand for the brands you ordered is very high and items often sell our quickly which is usually why people really like both brands since it makes the products more exclusive. As always, you are welcome to return any items you weren't happy with within 30 days of purchase for a refund. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

The WORST customer service I’ve ever worked with. They will take your money and embezzle you out of any more if you try to return and do credit. Like everyone else says here, you can find the same items elsewhere for the same, if not more affordable, prices.
Response from Bohemian Mama· Sep 21, 2021
Hi Brittania! All hats are eligible only for store credit and we do post this multiple times on the website and throughout the ordering process to make sure that it's not missed by our customers. We are sorry that the hat didn't work out for you, but instead of making hats final sale we offer store credit so you can choose anything else if it ends up not working. If you do have any questions please feel free to reach out via email at [email protected].
