The products and services at Binmertech are outstanding! While shopping I was able to get support for picking the right product. I also got good instructions with the product so I could install them myself. Finally, when I had questions about the product after install, I got very timely responses that were very helpful. I am thrilled with my Bimmertech purchases and their support!

The additional functionality through MMI Prime is precisely what I was hoping for. It opens up access to the latest in my case Android solutions (Android Auto). It allows me to utilize the car screen even more meaningful by adding the additional MMI Prime functionality. I watched a MMI video for implementation in a M6. I highly recommend the video if you want to install it yourself. The installation itself is straight forward. I would like to point out that it is difficult once all the connections are made getting the head unit back into place simply because of the cramped space. That took most of my time. With a lot of patience it eventually worked. MMI Prime works flawlessly. When I start the car it connects automatically (wireless). For that to work I think you need to have at least Android Version 8 or higher, otherwise you have to connect via the MMI Prime usb connection.

The customer service and the product are great. Bought this for my son's M4. The USPS lost it in the mail and provided a ridiculous signature. It was a Christmas present and BimmerTech sent another unit, overnight delivery. Then when my son was installing it, he ran into some vehicle specific questions and we received very quick responses from technical service on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The product works perfectly. I highly recommend BimmerTech. Frank, in Austin, TX

I purchased the SiriusXM coding for my Mini Cooper, and the coding process were for the most part pretty straight forward and didnt take too long. These guys definitely gets the job done. The part that makes me give 3 stars instead of 5 was the fact that the technician was very condencending and left me stranded in a way towards the end. In the middle of the coding session, the Enet cable didnt connect correctly, and instead of asking if the cable was connected correctly or if i got the right cable, tech asked " Did you see the instructions before this session?". "Did you see the instructions AND understand it completely?" only after i asked what's wrong i was informed the cable seems to not be working, which by the way worked once i wiggled it in several time. And at the end of the session after i said thank you, the program was still showing "clearing errors...please wait" for quite some time and i asked if i should wait or disconnect since everything seems to be working, and i received no response...and after waiting for several minutes, i decided to unplug everything and close down the session..so..technical knowledge..5 stars... communication definitely need some work..

great service quick response and it was a snap to install. maps are more noticeable and better than the 2016 version.

I purchased Amplifier and speaker package for my X6 F16 BMW . installation was easy with plug and play wiring harnesses and detailed instructions plus video . During installation I wiped out the coding on the amp by accident . Contacted Bimmer Tech they were very helpful and sent me the coding. the system sounds great it is so clear.

I purchased Legal disclaimer deactivation and Video and services in motion. Both these products are great easy to install with USB and if you have any problems really great service from there technical support. They willing to help with any problems.

If you own a BMW without the factory installed Apple Car Play, you should know that if you purchase the aftermarket version through this company, every time your dealer has to service your car it will wipe out your $399 purchase and you will have to spend an additional $75 to $140 to get it back! Stay away from this product unless you’re willing to pay about $2K (or more depending on how often your idrive system must be reset for service)! Wonder what kind of back room deal resulted in this consumer fleecing scam! I have increased my rating to 3 stars in appreciation of your response and your offer to discount the re-coding cost (how do I take advantage of the discount?) My overall experience is still somewhat jaded by the facts that while the issue was not caused by your company, the customer is ultimately still left holding the bag, and the service reps I spoke to were quick to tell me I had to pay to fix something that “wasn’t my fault” either! BMW SERVICE department gave me a different impression than the “typical” scenario you provided and my car’s system has already been reset four times in two years! My wife’s 2020 model has been reset twice in less than a year (fortunately BMW decided to include ACP from the factory for this model year). Your consumers can decide for themselves, but ideally you shouldn’t have to risk multiple payments for something that should be a one-time payment product.
