Anna, inconsistent steam is a fault and we'd like to look at your unit rather than leave you troubleshooting it. Please write to us at [email protected] with your order number and we'll take it from there. On the instructions — you're right, and we've had the same thing flagged elsewhere this week. Guidance shouldn't differ between our emails and the booklet in the box. We're fixing that. The reservoir needing a mid-session refill on continuous steam is worth including in your email too, so we can check whether that's expected for the setting you're using or a sign of the same problem. Alexandra, you shouldn't have to guess at any of this after reading the manual twice. The missing getting-started video is our problem to fix, and the two plastic pieces clearly aren't explained well enough if you're having to infer it. Write to us at [email protected] and we'll answer all of it directly — what the pieces are for, the charging question, and how to change modes without doing it blind. Practising with your eyes open first is exactly the right instinct, but you shouldn't need to. Thank you for writing it up this clearly. Hi Jan, the distilled water question shouldn't have been something you had to work out yourself. That's a gap in our instructions, not something you missed — and it's the second time this week it's come up internally. Write to us at [email protected] and we'll give you a straight answer on water versus the vitamin solution, so you're not guessing at it going forward. Paul, thank you for this. The fit problem you're describing is real, and you're not the only one running into it. The mask shape doesn't sit the same way on every face, and when the seal only holds on one side, treating one eye at a time is what people tend to land on. It works, but you're right that it isn't the experience we're going for. Before you settle into that routine though, it's worth a quick conversation with us. Hi Amy, we're sorry, that's a genuine fault. One side steaming strongly while the other runs dry isn't anything you did, and a mask that won't get hot, with an uncomfortable fit on top of it, isn't what you paid for. Of course we'll sort your refund. Please set it aside for now and email us at [email protected], and we'll take care of it with no need to send anything back. If you'd ever rather try our newer model instead, which is a real step up in design and consistency, we're glad to send one over, but only if you want it, the refund is yours either way.
