Great blades Razor n soap

I have been using a BB razor and blades for over a year on a near daily basis. The handle is well made and just about as perfect as it can be and deserves a 5. The reason for the 4 is the blades. They are not consistent. Some are excellent, giving a close shave with no cuts. Some, I would say less than 10%, get one use as they either don't give a close shave or cut up my face. I am committed to BB, but more careful in mounting a new blade (line it up so the edge presentation is consistent) and watching out the first time a blade is used. I get about one week per blade if it is a good one, one day if not.

I made my initial purchase about two years ago now. I bought the MkII Razor, a brush, replacement blades, and shave soap. The only thing I have had to buy since then is the soap. And even that lasts an incredibly long time. I've been extremely happy with everything. I would happily buy more often, but I don't need to. Sorry guys, I'm not sure this is a good review or not?

The shaving soap I use (unscented) makes a great thick lather in the reusable twist lid can, the soap allows the razor to glide smoothly even with multiple passes without nicks or irritation. Would I recommend, most definitely.
