It all began in a high school engineering classroom. Avery Shannon was 18 at the time (now 23), when he set out on the journey to craft a lip balm that was unlike the rest. He was inspired to create his own lip balm after taking a harsh acne medication, which completely dried out his skin. Shannon wanted to avoid the chemical induced lip balm market, thus creating an organic lip balm that was one of a kind. During the course of his last year in high school, Shannon spent over 12 months trying to formulate the ideal balm. The smooth, long lasting, and creamy texture of his lip balm puts every hand poured tube above the rest. Through continuous trial and error he truly believes that his formula is one of a kind. During his formulation process, he had to scrap over 3,000 lip balm tubes to achieve the formula he has today. His commitment and love for organic skincare radiates through each individual tube of lip balm.Making the perfect lip balm for Shannon isn't simply a business... It's a passion and a lifestyle he will cherish forever.

I recently bought one as my son who has a weakened immune system and has been so sad with everything going on. We don’t have much $ but thought I’d treat him. He loves trying chapstick. I was lucky enough to ‘spin’ and win a free one! Just had to pay shipping. Wahoo. Got it this weekend and they threw in a free one as well. This make me burst into tears as this was the nicest thing ever. Thank you! When I get some more $ I plan to get the other flavors for him. It’s been a struggle but wanted to say thanks and the kind gesture was very nice!

Wow....all I can say is WOW!!! I’ve been a fan of this company for over a year now, and always knew they were the best, but I had a crazy experience with this chapstick recently. I had to leave my car in Reno for a month this summer, and it has black interiors. When I finally got around to picking it up, I fully expected my MintMilk chapstick to be melted... and was OVERJOYED when I realized it wasn’t!! I have always had incredibly positive experiences with the customer service here, and my lips have never felt more hydrated. I love this company, and don’t see myself buying any other brand any time soon. They’re the balm! 👄💣

There must've been a postal mishap and I did not receive my first package. I emailed them about this issue and the next day they already had a new package in the mail and threw in a couple extras for the inconvenience. I am so pleased with the customer service not to mention that this is the best lip balm I've ever tried!! My lips feel like silk when I use their products. I'm usually not one to go out of the way to order online--I'd rather pick stuff like this up from the store but it is SOOO absolutely worth it to order from this company!
