I don't use a ballistic helmet on a professional level, so I can't say how it compares to anything in that respect. The sizing chart worked great and the fit was perfect. The quality of construction seems good and sturdy. The finish was perfect no flaws and it is comfortable to wear. I will be buying from Ballistic Armor co. again. Thanks.

Bought a gen 1 helmet last year. Great price compared to others. Decided to pick up a helmet cover this time. Well made and easy to attach. Looking forward to purchasing more things.

I purchased 1 helmet at a discounted price. When I was done checking out, there where 2 helmets charged, 1 at full price. I immediately sent them a message about this mistake and requested that they correct it before shipping my helmet. Not only did I never hear from anyone, 2 helmets showed up, so I called and left a message about the issue, so far I still have not heard back from anyone regarding this issue. I suspect that the issue at checkout was the fact that I thought I was done, but they were pushing "plus sales" trying to get me to purchase more items. I must have clicked "yes" aT some point thinking that I was completing my purchase, but instead it tricked me into purchasing another helmet. BE CAREFUL WHEN CHECKOUT!

I'll check with our customer service team regarding the missed message, and I'll make sure they call you back. It's possible the holiday break has caused some delays - but this should have been clearly communicated to you. First time owner/user of a ballistic helmet and I must say I’m impressed. The pads inside of the helmet are super comfortable and there’s a lot of velcro on the outside so you can mount all kinds of stuff, which I’m currently researching. I’m not a large dude so will need to get used to the weight and train with it or just do some neck body building lol. All in all a good quality helmet that doesn’t break the bank so get you one!

I recently received the gen2 helmet in multicam, and hands down it is much , much better than the gen1 I purchased a year or so ago. The pads are much nicer, and the chin strap assembly is great withe the boa ratchet system. Video review coming soon.

Good experience overall. I wish there were more shipping options though, UPS ground is fine when you’re within driving distance of the shipper, but almost two weeks if you’re on the other side of the country, I’d be willing to pay more for faster delivery. Having said that, the time from purchase to tendered to UPS was only a couple days right before Xmas during a massive labor shortage, so that’s pretty awesome.

Ended up getting my helmet faster than expected and it was a great fit I love the style and I got it during black Friday for an amazing price. It's lighter than the one I was issued from the army plus the arc rails and nvg mount are nice. The price is really good especially for the build quality.
