After experience, I have found out that Avvo is actually gets paid by lawyers for reviews. Hence, you will see disproportionately positive reviews for some lawyers. It is unthinkable for me that any lawyer would be so popular. In reality Avvo will delete your negative review even after providing them proof of misconduct. Surprisingly , you will find hundreds of "5 star" review seven for the attorneys sanctioned by Supreme court for ethics violation. Avvo is nothing but a marketing website, paid by lawyers and sponsored by lawyers. Never rely on Avvo reviews.
