This company is horrible. It cares nothing about customer service. The wait times for issues or concerns to be resolved are extremely long and unacceptable, and interfere with business workflow. It sometimes takes days or longer than a week to resolve concerns. The most famous response from this customer service team is "Let me go ahead and investigate this further on my end. I’ll be sure to give you an update shortly." This statement is almost never true. The wait times are enduringly long. If I could do it all over again, I would have chosen Buildium as a property management software.

Very concerned about this company. Was getting lease approval and the management company used AppFolio. The company’s review of bank records failed to notice repeated, monthly IRA distributions, for the identical amount each month, and failed to address the issue once I made them aware with documentation. This can really hurt someone trying to qualify for a lease.

I am a little surprised to see some of these bad reviews. I have had AppFolio for about 8 years now and it's amazing software. I came on here to review the AI leasing agent. I love this. It has saved me so much time and I feel like I am more in touch with perspective applicants and the responses are well though out. I had this for about a month now and I am over the moon.

Only rating 1 because there is no 0. They literally will not provide a direct phone number. They absolutely will not cancel our contract and want additional money to do so which is not part of our signed agreement with them. Customer service is non existent. "Resources" on the website are not helpful and usually outdated. They do not respond to contact forms and will NOT provide a direct email to anyone other than whoever it is that keeps sending what appears to be canned emails. When they do decide to call you back (because you write an accurate, but bad review like this one) it will be from a spam number. Not sure what happened, but this is not the company we originally signed with. Literally feels like a different company and appears to be a total sham at this point. We have stopped payment on any future withdrawals from the linked account as that's the only way we can figure out how to terminate service without being able to actually converse with a human who has critical thinking skills.

I hate everything about this platform but current issue is that as a vendor, they offer zero help to us. If we need to update any company info, we have to reach out to 17 management companies and ask them to update the portal. If work order notification are not coming into our email I have to reach out to 17 managers and ask them to issue a support ticket. This is a waste of time for both vendors and managers. Vendors should be able to update info in their portal and have it sent to all managers at once.

My building uses AppFolio for rental payments. I had my credit card saved as a payment method as well as my bank account but I never used the credit card because of the fees AppFolio charges, however the credit card was first on the drop down. One time I thought I had changed the drop down to my bank account but the click didn’t go through and it was on my credit card. I hit submit without realizing it and immediately tried to contact Appfolio to see if they could cancel the payment and allow me to pay by check but there is literally no way to contact them if you are a tenant, they will tel you to contact your property management but I did that and my property management says they can’t do anything about Appfolio fees. It’s absolutely unacceptable that this company has no customer service for tenants and no recourse if you are charged extra fees. They should not be in business.

Terrible customer service. They charge for everything. Doesn't integrate. Very expensive

Been here for a while and I can say I’m very happy always on time with my issues and I really don’t have any complaint
