Morgan J - Jerry H & Myles W along with two other chat "reps" have all told me incorrect solutions which means that NOBODY in this company knows what they're doing. Not a callback, not an answer after being on hold for an hour. if they can't figure out your issue, they close the chat. WHAT A JOKE! This is the WORST PM software I've ever worked with and would never recommend them! Go elsewhere for the sake of using a company who has knowledgable / friendly staff

I have been an Appfolio customer for many years. While their product is one of the best, their customer support is surprisingly substandard. When it is working, it's great. When I have an issue, it is nearly impossible to get in contact with a support person in a timely manner and issues are not resolved. I was blamed for a recent issue with syndication to Zillow only to find out days later by Zillow that Appfolio was having an issue on their end. I feel unappreciated as a loyal customer and am actively pursuing comparable options with customer dedication and support.

Appfolio customer service needs to hire a hundred service reps that can answer the phone to get customers issues resolved immediately, so we can run our business profitably and efficiently without waiting. ACH/electronic payments to vendors were supposed to be like WIRING MONEY; IMMEDIATE PAYMENT RECEIVED in vendors accounts ! It is taking 3 to 7 days for my vendors to receive funds in their account. I plan to ask an appropriate gov't agency to investigate Appfolio's accounting practices.

This ensures that payments are delivered securely and in compliance with our payment partners. If wait times are longer than expected I encouraged you to visit the Help Center where you can search your questions within the center and also have access to live support chat. Frustrating. When I click "forgot password" I get an email to reset, but first I need to type in the password that I forgot. Did they forget that one click ago I just said I forgot it? Update: The reply says IF I clicked "forgot password" - could they not read my post that said that is exactly what I clicked on and it still requires the password that I said I forgot? I thought it was quite clear. The reply obviously did not even check the faulty coding of the app.

Update: Hi, I think there must be some miscommunication. If you can please email us at [email protected] so we can get a support ticket created for you! Hi, thank you for your message. If you are changing your password on your "My Settings" page than yes you have to since it is directly through the portal already logged in. But, if you are clicking "Forgot Password" on the login page, then you just have to enter in your email. You'll then receive an email, and then you'll click the link within that email to reset it. Please let us know if you have any hiccups!

The programmers do not know the first thing about accounting or bookkeeping. There are very very many obstacles, that if the software creators would work with an accountant or at least try to use the system, then maybe they can try to resolve. They are very proud of their many integrations, but when it boils down to regular day yo day functionality, not very user friendly.
